I just read on the FAQ page of Disneyland that outside food & beverage is not permitted in the parks. We are WDW vets and are planning our first DL trip in September. We always bring a canteen of water and maybe a few granola bars in our backpack. Will that be allowed at DL?

what you are planning it sounds ok. Sandwiches are ok but a loaf of bread, packet of cheese, jar of mayonnaise etc is not. A bottle of water is fine, a large hard sided cooler on wheels filled with ice and a case of water is not.

It's allowed. What they don't allow are large coolers, items to make sandwiches (you can bring a sandwich, you can't bring a loaf of bread and sandwich fillings) or glass containers.

Thank you. I assumed light snacks and water was fine but thought I should ask the experts. :)

I always bring PB&J, nuts, granola bars, fruit, veggies, bottled water, etc. No problems!
