Can anyone recommend a florist in the Orlando area, we would like to price others and see how they compare to Disney's prices. Thanks!

I might be totally off on this one, but i think it's "Raining Roses"... HTH

One option is Raining Roses. I did price them and they are very expensive. If you have not signed your contract yet and are planning to have any outdoor events (ceremony (in or out of park), or illuminations) then you are required to now use Disney Floral. Work with your floral manager to see what they can do to work within your budget.

I found Disney reasonable for the types of different floral I had. I had 4 kinds of roses, mini callas, hydrangeas and Stephonotis. Sorry I can't spell flower names. I found that most outside florists buy for the event where Disney buys in bulk which gave me a cheaper price.

The other thing I did to make the floral budget go further is that I used it for four events. Don't count that option out with Disney either. They can transport it and reset it up quickly.

Johanna, there is another one I looked at, but I can't remember their name now. Raining Roses I called 3 or 4 times and it was the worst customer service I had ever had. I know that some people have good luck with them but mine was not so great. I just needed the customer service at that point.

I hear ya... thats why i love disney floral. I'm having the best time with Rosie (escape), she's sooo nice and really customer oriented. I love her!
Customer service makes the difference!

I've also heard of Greenery Productions and Peddles. Also, I Googled "Orlando wedding florist" and got a ton of great results!

I've also read good reviews about Charming Events (www.weddingdecorator.net) and Whimsical Wey (www.whimsicalwey.com).

I used Emily from Charming Events. She was fabulous to work with. Between the two of us, we came up with the designs. She kept "tweaking" the contract to fit my flower budget. I was extremely pleased with the results. I contacted Raining Roses and had a very hard time getting answers from them. Ironically enough, a month before my wedding they sent me an email asking if I was still interested in their business. Made me laugh.

I am using Peddles for my bouquet for the Magic Kingdom Photos (SInce my bouquet from the cruise will be DEAD) and her price was 1/2 of Disney's. Check ot thier web site! www.peddles.com
