Outside favors/goods for wedding use

I don't recall seeing this question asked before... sorry if it has and I missed it! I had planned on using a few etsy sellers for certain items that we are trying to save money on for budget reasons (i.e., mickey program fans, sequin mickey appliques for totes and whatnot). They aren't coming from any recognized Disney preferred vendor... will we run into any problems in using them for the wedding? Especially in terms of an outside seller providing our Mickey Program Fans for much cheaper than Shelly's... (love them, would love to give them our business, but can't afford it!!). Thoughts? Experiences?

i know LOTS of people DIY or hire out for programs/invites and the like. i can't see how the program fans could be a problem - at least i've not heard of or encountered anything to suggest that. i think that concern lies more with decor and floral for certain venues.

We aren't doing fans, but are having Mickey head-shaped cookies as our favors/escort cards. Having them shipped down to us, and my planner said that was fine.
