Outlets in resort rooms

I was wondering if anyone else experienced this. When we have stayed at POR in the past we have always brought appliances that needed to be plugged in and we would use the table to set the appliance on, but when we went in Oct. we brought our electric cooler and could not get it to plug in except by the sinks. Did they change the outlet to keep people from using cooking appliances from home or did we have a fluky room. Thanks

We've never had a problem plugging in our laptop near the bed at any of the resorts. I think we've used it at POFQ, CBR, and CR. I don't think that Disney has done any rewiring. It sounds like you just ended up with a bad room as far as plugs go.
