Outlet Mall ? on Black Friday

Hi. I just found out last night that my parents booked a time share in Orlando for them, me and my 3 kids for Thanksgiving. We live 90 minutes away and I never go to anything other than DISNEY itself. Its just too far for a quick trip.

I can't afford to go to Disney right now (went for my bday earlier this month) but would love to hit the Disney outlet store on Black Friday.

Can anyone tell me which of the malls its in? And a vague idea of where its located.

Thanks. Maybe I can get some extra special souviniers that I couldn't afford when I went earlier this month.

In terms of official Disney outlets, there's one in Prime and one in Premium. The one in Premium is right beside the food court, hard to remember which side. Be warned, Premium is a nightmare on Black Friday--cars parked in the median, on the grassy strip across the street, just everywhere. Never ventured up to Prime on that day, it may be just as bad.

There's an unofficial Disney outlet in the Lake Buena Vista outlet mall (on 535, across from Wal-Mart). Selection tends to pale compared to the other two.

Thank you. I've never done the outlet malls in Orlando before. I was in Ft. Lauderdale 3 years ago for the King Tut Exhibit (took Egypt obsessed son to see it) and loved the Disney Outlet Store at the Sawgrass. Thought it would be cool to stop in and check it out. I hope they might have good deals.

I checked the website for each mall and the Disney Character stores are not offering any major discounts on Black Friday like the other stores.

Well, then I'll have to go see what they have on Saturday or just skip it.

Thank you. I've seen other outlet malls (on the news from the Tampa Stations we get here on the Nature Coast) do special 12 pm sales or shop in your pajamas or something silly. Thought it might be fun to check it out.

If you do go save yourself some grief and park in the parking garage - we were there November 1 and the parking was unreal! Even the garage was almost full. I had hoped it wouldn't be as bad, but it was worse than last time at spring break.

Most of the times both of the Character Premier stores will have the same merchandice. However the past two trips my family and I went to WDW and to these stores, the location at Prime Outlets International had a bit more items then the location at the Premium Outlet Mall. However since both locations always get new items their merchandice always changes, so it's hit and miss depending on what your looking for. Some people might hit the jackpot of items and others might not like anything they have.
