Do these require a covered porch or do they really hold up in the weather? It would be great to have one on a hot wooden deck in the summer but I don't know if it would get moldy and mildewy. Any opinions?

I have had one for 4 years that I bought at Target and it looks almost the same as it did when I bought it. We do not have a covered porch and I originally bought it to help with the hot deck. But I love the way it looks. It really dresses up the deck:thumbsup2

Thanks!

I've had several out door rugs and loved them.

I've used them on both wood decking and a paved patio with out damage to either.

They were exposed to the elements, from rain to heat and hold up pretty well. One I tossed after 4 years, but the others held up better.

I felt I got my monies worth and really like the way they look with the patio furniture.

Does it damage the wood if you leave it on there 24/7?

It never damaged the wood on our deck but we also make sure to move it when it rains to dry underneath and them move it right back.

Check out the ones at LL Bean and Plow and Hearth.
