Outdoor heaters at the CP?

Does anyone know if it is really cold during the CP if they put out those tall outdoor heaters like they use at the Spirit of Aloha?

If CP is the Candlelight Processional then the answer is no. They just let everyone freeze. We have been there when it was cold and raining and they just suggested people get ponchos because they wouldn't allow umbrellas up during the show.

When we went 2 years ago it was during an unseasonably cold spell. Believe it or not, the mousekeeper who took such good care of us at YC suggested we take the extra blanket that was in our closet with us Although ds then 12 thought I was nuts he was VERY happy once we got seated. We sat on it and had it over our legs - everyone around us was freezing. When we went to dinner at Chefs de France afterwards they kindly "checked" it for us We were not going to any other attractions that night and I was so very glad I had it.

Definitely no to the heater at the CP.
I have skied my entire life and the coldest I have ever been in my life was at the CP in 1997.
People were buying serape's at Mexico to try to keep warm it was so bitterly cold. Kinda ironic, huh? to be freezing in Florida.
Does make it festive though.

In past we have been pretty cold,we now make sure we dress warm it's hard to enjoy Candlelight Processional with teeth chattering.Going to CP on Dec 5th and 7th this year.

Prepare to be chilly - they don't provide heaters & the wind coming off the lake can make is seem even cooler than it really is. We saw lots of people with hotel blankets!

We took some of those little hand warmer packets that are sold with camping gear. We were really glad to have them.

No matter how cold - CP is worth it! One of our most memorable experiences at WDW.
