Out of State Disneyland Trip Planning Thread

Has anyone noticed that you cant book or get any hours for ANY downtown restaurants after July 11th. And before that there are plenty of them available so you cant tell me this is them all being booked. IT's every place including the Bowling alley. And Lamplight you cant book or get any hours after July 4th. Any ideas?
They release dining sporadically, by location. It’s frustrating.

I don't think they released any from July 11th on. There are no hours for ANY downtown. I call the Jazz kitchen and they said they have no reservation for then. But from the 10 and before everyday has multiple downtown restaurants available with hours.

Is it still the case that you can add a day to your park hopper tickets, after the first use, but before the last day?

I also think yes, but keep in mind: max in the past was 5 days. Also we are now on Park Pass system and Chapek commented that the system is here to stay. You will need Park availability to add that extra day. If you are staying on-site, that might be your best bet. But otherwise, it's probably better to buy correct length of tickets (and get Park Passes) before your trip, or risk being disappointed if no availability on the day you want to add.

Anyone heard any rumors about when DL might make an announcement about letting in OOS visitors? I am sure there is quite a bit to be ironed out first but just wondered if anyone had heard any rumblings? Thanks!
Right after I posted this, I saw Scott Gustin announced on Twitter, OOS can visit after June 15 and booking window has increased to 120 days!

Haha it literally just dropped on Twitter. June 15 is the date. At work so can't get screengrabs but DisneyParks also tweeted it out.

I wish I hadn't run to the grocery this afternoon. I had just decided to chance it (we'd do something different if DL wasn't open to us -- USH for example), so I was sitting here on hold for our flights (which have to be booked by phone due to a peculiar voucher situation) and starting to bring up the Disney page when the news broke.
Then nothing was moving -- reservation-wise -- air or DLR.
And now is DD's award night at school.
LOL -- well, maybe if I try at midnight.

I am so excited! Even though I am still waiting on my refund from my AP.....ready to purchase tickets for October and December!!
