Out of school yet

My kids school got out May 24th and they go back Aug 21st. They get very few days off during the school year - two Teacher training days in the Fall, two in the Spring, and a couple of Monday Holidays like Labor Day....not many though.

high schools started finals today through June 21.
so her last day of classes was yesterday.

middle school last day of classes is tomorrow, with final starting friday
through June 21.

our grammer school goes full day through the last day of school-till June 23

It's a bit different here in the UK. Schools here finish around middle of July, I think it's 14th July this year, and the new school year starts beginning of September, usually around 5th or 6th.

Mine were out May 25th & don't go back until Aug 3rd---looks like we're starting earlier than anyone else so far. I don't know why we go back so early, especially considering it's still so dang hot in August!

This is pretty close to our schedule too.

Today, 6/14, is my DDs' last day and they go back 9/5. BRING ON THE SUMMER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My kids got out May 25th and go back Aug. 25th. We don't get many breaks through out the year, which I don't like, no Spring Break, no Fall break, just a day here and there.

My DS's get out this Friday June 16th. School starts again on August 28th. They have been changing our days off during the year quite abit in the last couple of years. We are now off a whole week for Thanksgiving instead of 2 days, and in February we are now off a week between the presidents holidays instead of two Mondays in a row.

My stepsister graudates 8th grade on the 21st. I believe my sister finishes finals the 22nd. My mom (a teacher) is done sometime the following week (I think the 26th). Each of their school districts had 3 snow days this year. They also had 2 flood days last months, but because we were under a state of emergency and it happened in the middle/end of May, the state education commissioner granted waivers so those didn't have to be made up, otherwise they'd be going even later

DDs last day was June 8th, and she goes back August 25th.

Parochial school in NJ:

Dd's last day this Friday June 16th and she will go back on Thursday Sept 7th.

This coming school year, ds will be joining her. He is so excited!!!

We get out June 23rd and go back Sept. 5th. I can't wait for summer vacation!

Last day was May 26th, this is our 3rd week of vacation. They go back Aug. 14th. We have "9 week" terms here, not 6 weeks, so fewer teacher planning days. The first semester ends at Christmas break.
