Hey all,

I am a fairly new collector, but already out of room on my lanyard. What else can I use for storing and organizing pins? Any Suggestions?

You can buy books with velvet pages just to store your pins. My 12 year old brother is also new at pin trading. He just got this neat fanny pack for storing pins with stitch embroiderd on the front that has velvet pages inside. He has about 50 pins in there. Here it is.

Pin binders are a great way to store your keepers in a book. They are like a three ring binder with pages that are somewhat stiff to hold the pins. There are also pin books which have been sold at the Theme Parks with room to put pins. Or if you want to be able to look at the pins often I suggest a bulletin board. I have quite a number of pins in bulletin boards.

:rotfl2: That is an understatement :rotfl2: :thumbsup2 :teeth:

I use binders and use a stiff "Foamie" that you can get at the craft store and punched holes with a grommet maker in them.

Also have them on display in some frames

Have fun!
Debbie

I have a pin bag that I use for some of my pins but I've recently started decorating my bulletin boards with them. I never really took the time to just flip through my book, but now I have them out on my boards to enjoy all of the time :thumbsup2

You can get a Cork Bulliten Board, put some colored paper on it, along with a 'Theme' (Like Stich pins or Goofy Pins) on the top and just stick your pins in.

I bought a small pin bag at WDW that has Mickey embroidered on it that says Pin Trading WDW. There were also some pin books and bigger pin bags if you have a lot of pins. I don't dare display pins on hats as I wouldn't want to lose them. My mom traded for a pin of her favorite Disney Christmas cartoon and it fell off her hat. Fortunately, she found it, so it wasn't lost, but it only reaffirmed my decision not to put pins on my hat. The bag I have has a zipper too.

On each page, I tried to theme my pins by trip and/or character.
