Out of curiousity.. how long were you with your

7yrs together before we married. Started going with dh when I was 14 and he was 17. Married for almost 15yrs and together for almost 22yrs

6 years, but we started dating when I was a sophomore and DH was a senior in high school. I didn't want to get married until I finished college. There was also 6 month "break" in there while we were at different colleges.

Our first date was 11/19. We got engaged on 12/24 - he had an engagement ring waiting for me, so 5 weeks until we got engaged. We got married in August, so 9 months from 1st date to marriage.

We've been married 12 years.

Just a hair over 4 years between our first date and our wedding. We'll have our 20th anniversary next summer.

about 7 months then married..... been married for 14 years now

Dh and I first met in third grade. We started dating at 16, finished high school and college together, and got married 8 years later. We've been together almost 20 years now and it's hard to believe how fast time has flown!

I think in some ways we were always meant to be together. My grandad helped introduce dh's grandparents and accompanied them on their first date (double date, unfortunately g-pa wasn't with my g-ma at that point:laughing:).

DFi and I started dating when I was 14. :cutie: I'm 22 now, we got engaged when I was 21. We're getting married June 2012.. once I'm completely done with school. By the time we get married, we'll have been dating for 10.5 years.

My gf and I have been dating since the early fall of 1995. So we have been dating over 14 years. We are still waiting to be "allowed" to marry.:guilty:

We dated 8 years. We started dating when I was 15. We've been married 20 years.

Just over 2 years. We were engaged at 1.5 years. We have been married 5 years this past October. We "knew" by month 2.

4 1/2 months from the day we met to the day we got married. I was 19 he was 26.
We will be married 17 years in April.

10 months from first talk on the phone (met 6 weeks later) to marriage.
It will be 16 years this Feb

We were together 9 months before getting married. Our 8 year anniversary is coming up in a few months.

It was definitely a situation where we both just "knew". :goodvibes

Same here. We are celebrating our 15 anniversary in Jan.

we've been together over 5.5 years now (we met our last year in college), we're planning on getting married next august (we'll be together a little over 6 years then).

My husband of 28 years and I met in early June, married in early October (four months). We lived eight hours from one another and only had a few weekends where we were physically in the same location during that time. The bulk of our "getting to know one another" time was via telephone and letters (no internet back then). Hence the short courtship--phone bills at that time were a killer!

Just in case anyone wonders--our children weren't born for 7 and 9 years thereafter. After our brief courtship, that was certainly a question on many minds. ;)

3 1/2 years...but we met when we were 19. We've been married 11 years now.
My parents met at a new years eve party and got married 8 months later and are still going strong after almost 38 years together. In fact, just the other day she told me that my dad doesn't look at her like the middle aged grandma she is, that instead, he thinks she's a "babe"... :scared1: Sorry mom....T...M...I!
