DFiance and I will have been together over 5 years when we get married this spring.

You probably don't want to know! Less than a year. I stand correctly, it was less than a year when we got engaged but it was 1 1/2 years from then until our actual wedding.

We've been married for 18 years though, so it appears to have worked out.

While I don't recommend this as a rule, DH and I started dating in February and married in July (actually would have gotten married in June but couldn't arrange for a place to live that quickly). I was 24, and he was 27. We've been married 25 1/2 years now.

DD was married this past June. She and her new husband had been together for 5 years. They were engaged for a year and a half before they were married.

Engaged for 18 mos (saving up for a house) and then married at 23/24 respectively and
2010 is our 25th Anniversary

With ex, we knew each other about 6 months before we began being a couple and dated for 1.5 years before being engaged. We were engaged 1 year. We married when we were 22 and 23. I thought it was for a lifetime, but unfortunately, he had other plans. We were married 9.5 years when the divorce was final.

My boyfriend and I met 3 years ago this month and started dating right away. We are getting closer and closer to the next step. When we get engaged, our engagement will be short...maybe 4ish months, but this marriage WILL be a lifetime!
