Not that I'd ever be able to get the reservation, but I'm sort of curious - If you had something like a 10 pm reservation for dinner, would you be able to just stay and watch the New Year's Eve fireworks right from Rose & Crown?

Something to try for in another year if yes. :)

If you can make the meal last and if they don't do a 2 hour limit on the tables. I believe that they have done this is the past in which case you would be pushed out around the time the fireworks would be going off

If you would like to go all out the California Grill has a NYE menu for 500.00 pp music and fireworks included. You have to make ADR 180 out. I am writing this with a smile on my face because we tried last yr. and when we heard the price we laughed and said no way.

That would be kind of fun - 10 pm would get you to 11:45 or whenever they start the fireworks. I suppose it would also help if Epcot had or 1 or 3 am close instead of just a midnight close. Then they might really have no problem letting you stay on the patio.

Good heavens, yes I saw that. The description sounds pretty darn awesome, but that would have to be some reason to celebrate besides NY's Eve. :)

I've got Bay Lake Tower booked for New Years Eve until January 11th, so seeing Magic Kingdom's fireworks hopefully won't be an issue.

Are all the restaurants crazy busy that day for ADRs? I'm hoping to get Whispering Canyon.
