This is insane and completely inefficient. Would think Disney would have a better way. You then go and stand in another inefficient line to get into the parks.
Do you use the DL app? If so, mobile ordering is now available, and Flo's is one of the locations with it! If you go back, that could help with food wait times. The other big shock today is breakfast at Flo’s. We wish we’d just grabbed a fruit cup we wasted our whole morning trying to get food from this one place. Line wasn’t even that bad but they look like they are just completely flustered trying to get food. People standing here for 20 minutes waiting on potatoes. Only reservation dining for me from now on.

Flo's just started mobile ordering from smartphones - maybe only for AP holders so far - and the process is not smooth. In the past Flo's has always been fine for me on wait time. From the pictures these looks like the Harbor Blvd security tents. What time of day were you trying to enter? Which security lines were these? Thank you.
Universal Orlando is great because people are arriving from multiple areas. Universal Hollywood uses the same system and they only have security in one area so it’s almost like harbor Blvd at Disneyland and depending on the day and time of day it can be just as bad as Disney lines to get through (people forget to take things out of their pockets, security guards taking forever to wand people that set the machine off or have to actually go through a bag which halts the entire line that your in).FWIW Universal Orlando has the best security lines I've seen. Disney should try to duplicate their system. Thank you for the update on mobile ordering, we will definitely do that!
This x100. Have your bags open/unzipped and ready. Take your bag off your shoulder. If there is a jacket in it take the jacket out as you give it to the security person. If you have a bag within a bag. Take the inside bag out as you give it to them and open it. It makes it go so much faster when you walk up with your bag completely ready.Just looks like rush hour morning lines to me. If everyone would be ready when they get up there it would really help- they say it over and over before you get up there, that’s not disney’s fault.

They do have an AP line at WDW, I wonder why not here? That looks like a typical morning line to me.
Even when they're long (longer than those), a lot of times they don't take that long. Maybe 15-20 minutes (certainly can be longer if you hit a slow-moving line... which I have knack for doing!). I seem to always end up right behind someone arguing about getting to take their selfie stick in...
I do get frustrated with how inequitable the lines are. Like, when I get in one line and the people in the line next to me get through 10 minutes faster than me (or same thing at the entrance - if you get behind a few large groups entering for the first time and needing pictures/signatures, it feels a little maddening).
I'm not sure what Disney could really do about the disparity in security line times, but I do wish they'd have an AP-only ticket entrance.
