Sometimes they look a little bit more than others but bottom line is if you put some hidden compartments, hide items under padding in car seats there is an extremely almost certain chance you'll get through. Has anyone had Disney CM's take apart strollers and car seats? You’ve had that experience with strollers. Others have had other experiences.
Traditionally the true security at Disney happens because of longer lines; the remote watching of it all. It’s not the cm either barely looking at your bag or nearly turning it inside out (I’ve had both happen), it’s the hidden security watching over everything.
Some people just really fall for the theatrics, I mean if you open a bag and dump out all it's contents you are still not being effective considering a terrorist would likely sew in hidden pockets and it would be secured in a way as to not fall out or make much noise. The bag check will continue to fail until bags are emptied xrayed and swabbed for explosive residue ON TOP of behavior analyst watching everyone IMHO that is not practical for a theme park so instead they give you the first show of your visit that day and hope to maybe deter someone and hope that they go else where instead of just waiting for a super long security line and blowing that up instead.
