One I use is the word "gal" and all my friends say I sound like I'm from the 1930's. I never even realized it was old fashioned.

So when I first met my husband 9 years ago he would say "stop dawdling" and I was like "huh" because I had never heard of the phrase really....of course now I say that a lot . For the record when I met him he was 18..so he still says it at 27 but he did get it from his mom saying it and his grandmother saying it.

lol I say "groovy" ALL the time. Mostly when someone say's How are you, How are you doing? I answer Groovy. (It's sad, I know, lol)

I feel pretty old right now because I use just about all of what everyone has said is outdated just about every day. My Daddy was in the Navy in WWI so
You better straighten up and fly right
Hit the deck and hit the head

are also used every day in our house.

Bigger than Pete O'Neil is also used a lot (have no idea who Pete O'Neil was but Daddy evoked his name often)

I'm from Georgia so all the southernisms are used a lot too.

These probably aren't outdated but not sure anyone really says them and I say them often -
Jesus, Mary and Joseph (so that I don't swear)
Cheese and Rice (again, so that I don't swear) My dd uses that one alot too!
Tru Dat
Holy Smokes
Dude (never,ever gets old)
Dingus (again to replace a swear word)
Awesome! (probably my favorite word when I can't think of anything else to say!)
