Our Wonderful Wedding Review/Honeymoon POFQ

After receiving a few requests to post my wedding review I decided to post a link to my wedding bio. We were married on May 17, 2008 in Raleigh, NC.
Our honeymoon was a seven night cruise to the Caribbean (Ochos Rios Jamaica, Cozumel Mexico, Grand Cayman and Labadee Haiti). We then spent 7 Days in Disney. We stayed at Port Orlean FQ. We had never stayed at this resort before and I thought that it was beautiful! We had a river view room on the third floor (I loved the view). We visited all four parks including Blizzard Beach, Typhoon Lagoon, Disney Quest and PI. We didn't rest at all!!! I told DH that he had a chance to rest while we were on our cruise but once we were in Disney it was go time!!!! I like to open and close the parks which we tried to do on most days!
We were on the Disney Dining plan so between the cruise and Disney I have never eaten so much food in all my life, lol. I'm surprised that I was able to fit into my clothes once we arrived home!
The best day (for me) of our honeymoon would have to have been on our last night at Disney. We ate at Cindy's Castle and had a wonderful seat by the window in the center on the castle ( I think it's the best seat in the house). Our dinner was during Wishes and we were able to see part of the show from our seat. It was soooo magical. All of a sudden while we were watching the fireworks I just burst into tears. I was so overcome with emotions. #1) It was the last night of our honeymoon and I was a little sad and #2) it was just such a magical moment that I couldn't help but get emotional. I had the best time in my life!!!!

Aww! Thank you for posting that!!! I absolutely love that you did a blending families presentation...I've always been a fan of that. You looked lovely...what length was your veil?? Its the first double layer that I've ever liked...no..make that LOVED!! Your reception looked amazing!! We're using Etta James for our last slow dance...I love that song..I belt it out whenever I hear it lol! So beautiful! I loved all of the pics..its so hard to pick a fave. I think I love the one of your face while your DH serenaded you the best...the eyes say it all And dang..that was a LOT of candy!!! It all looked SO beautiful....how many guests did u have??

Thank You!!! I hate to say this but I'm not 100% sure what the length is. I always just assumed that it was a shoulder length and because I didn't wear it on the top of my head that it just made it appear longer than it really was. I'll look at it again when I get home tonight and try to figure it out.... I love the song "At Last", it just makes me smile when I here it..... We had ~ 150 quests.

Beautiful pictures!! Your wedding looks like it was just gorgeous and so much fun!!! We almost picked May 17th of 2009 to get married, but we had to push it to the end of May next year! What a beautiful time to get married.

I loved the pictures!

I loved looking at your girls standing up there, so tiny, and sweet. The blending ceremony was a wonderful touch.

I also loved the way the hall was set up. All the white petals were beautiful and not overkill.

Looks like you had a blast on your honeymoon too!!

What a beautiful wedding! Everything looked so elegant.

We spent our Disney Honeymoon at POFQ as well, and just loved it there. It really was the perfect setting.
