I would totally recommend DCL we loved it!! We also did the western, for us the itinerary suited us we prefer to visit places and see a bit of history etc but from what I have read if you just want to do beaches the eastern looks amazing! The beaches for the western were really good too!

Was the cruise cold in Dec? I'm Planning a Jan Wedding and would love to go on DCL, but I'm afraid we wont enjoy it as much if it's very cold.

No it was lovely and warm - especially at Castaway Cay that day was perfect! One sea day was cooler as it was overcast. We went in the water too, but we are from the UK so for us the weather was amazing compared to what we were getting back at home!
