LOL that is funny it is all about editing. I totally think your wedding belongs in there. It WAS something you see in a magazine. Its all about being different and unique. You don't need a bridal party or things like that!

Our wedding photographers submitted our event to the Knot's Central Florida edition, but I submitted the pix for Destinations Weddings & Honeymoons. It takes a bit of doing, but most magazines post requirements for submissions on their web sites.

DW&H is neat because they let you submit up to 20 pictures the first time, and then, if they're interested, you can submit another 100 or so! Here's a link to the application page:

Part of the application is a questionnaire that I thought they would use as background for writing the article. As it turned out, they printed a lot of my "rough notes" as direct quotes - eep!

My favorite is where I made the sweeping generalization that our wedding colors were turquoise and orange because I'd never seen it done before -- and then you turn to the next page and there's a couple with turquoise and coral for wedding colors!
