Our VIP Experience

I am glad you had a great time!! Sorry for some of the haters! My family has used the VIP service twice and loved it! We used the same woman both times...when we called to book the second service they asked us if we would like the same guide and we said yes. Had a great time both times! Went to all four parks both times and got VIP seating at the afternoon parade at MK, which was AWESOME!!!

We visit the world appx 4x per yr, but still like this as a perk every so often.....especially fun when you can take a newbie with ya! They just can't get over it! Too fun!

Oh, and for folks out there that want to get the most out of it (if you only book 6 hrs like us), I would highly suggest eating an early lunch and you can have your guide meet you at the front of the restaurant, that is what we did one time.

This way, you don't tie up valuable time eating a meal. The time we booked it that way we got more accomplished!

We had her meet us at 1230 at the front of the restaurant (San angel inn). So we started the tour there....did test track and soarin, then moved on and did the other three parks...it was great.

She dropped us at the hotel right after 630pm and we had a 700pm dinner booked there so it worked out perfectly!

I am considering this for our family trip this year during the holidays.

Would you be willing to share the name of your guide?

Also, did you have to have the guide with you to have the vip seating for the shows?

Thank you.

Kelly

The reason that I posted our experience is bc while we were looking into doing this VIP tour I could never really find out accurate information. There is very little info out there.

For my family it was amazing and if we are lucky enough to be financially able to do it again then we absolutely will. With little kids, I loved that she drove us right up to the rides and we really liked seeing the behind the scenes area. We learned about the vaccuum trash system and saw the outside of the safari. It reminded us of Jarasic Park.

We did spend two other days doing the parks without the guide and found ourselves looking at the map constantly to find our way and trying to figure out what rides to do in what order. For rookies like my family it was a way to relieve the stress of planning. We went to all four parks and never felt rushed plus the other days of our trip we got to walk around.

To answer some questions:
She did not accept a tip.
There was no plaid on our guide. She said it smelled bad when it rained bc it was wool.
We were driven around in a suburban.
We loved the cabins and will stay there again. Staying there did not impact our decision to use the guide.
It does not include other tours. We were asked what we wanted to do though so maybe it is possible.

Lastly, our guide was the nicest lady on earth. She was like a part of the family and we exchanged emails at the end. She stayed with our daughter while we went on a "scary" ride and I was very thankful that she was so nice.

Hopefully this helps someone else decide if this is for them. It made our day Magical!
thank you so much for posting, i am thinking of doing this next march (spring break) and thought i would rather spend the money and do the rides my family enjoys than standing in line and only doing a couple of rides after spending all the money on admission. by doing the VIP tour it would free up our time to do other things other than standing around for hours trying to get on rides. thanks so much i am definitely going to do this

OP - a VIP guide sounds like a great experience!! If it was in my budget, I'd do it too. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for posting your experience, it sounds wonderful. We are going in April and there will be 11 of us. This will be a must do for us. My 5 grandchildren will love it!

Oh, that sounds like so much fun! I think it would just be great to be driven around to everything :thumbsup2

I was looking at pictures of the cabins and they seem SO nice. Definitely on my list of places to stay!

i probably will never be able to afford it but I think it sounds like a great idea if you go during a super crowded time. I'd still do each park on a separate day at a leisurely pace but maybe start out with the VIP tour to get all the headliners with longest lines out of the way. That would be well worth $1500 to me (if going during peak times)

Thanks for the info. I wondered about thus several times. Not currently in my price range, but it is something for the future. Sounds fun to me!!!

Thanks for the review! You don't hear about the VIP tour much. For those saying they would rather sit back and people watch on a bench, you can still do that! Just don't do it during your VIP tour. In fact, it would be awesome to get your favorite rides out of the way so that you can enjoy the "little things" of the park more later.

You can set up a pre-formed group and share the costs. The maximum that can be in the group is ten people; the price is the same for one or for ten. But payment will only be accepted from one person.

It was fun to step into your shoes and hear about your VIP experience. Thanks so much for sharing!!
