Let me say that this report is based on our opinions and may defer from others on this board. We are just reporting what happened to us.

1st Day May 19, 2006 – Travel Day –

We all woke up fairly early this morning (gee…I wonder why?? LOL). We had a lot of last minute little things to do plus the girls were expecting a very important telephone call. At 8:45am on the head Winnie the Pooh called the girls to tell them to have a great trip. My oldest one was thrilled!
At 1:00pm the car (which I thought was going to be a sedan) pulls up. To my surprise it is a stretch limo!! We were very glad to see that since we had so many bags we did not think that a sedan would fit every thing in the trunk!
We arrived at the airport about 2:00pm. We make our way through security and over to our gate. We grabbed a quick bite and came back to find out that our gate has changed. We make our way over to our new gate and come to find that the plane is delayed 2 hours! Thankfully, we have a portable DVD player for the girls with a ton of Disney movies, and a bunch of crayons and coloring books.
Our plane finally lands and we board about 7:00pm CST. The flight was uneventful. We arrived at MCO about 10:30pm EST. We made our way over to DME desk. We checked in and were sent over the line for the Pop Century. The wait for the bust was about 25 minutes. We boarded the bus and my little ones fell asleep as soon as they sat in the seat. The bus driver was great and we were just about to enter through the Walt Disney World sign where we had to be re-routed due to an accident.
We were the first stop on the bus. We got off and collected our luggage. By this time it was 11:40pm(I believe). We went to check in and there was a slight wait. We reach the desk and check in goes pretty smooth. We were all starving, so the front desk gives us a menu that delivers to the front desk until 2:00am.
The walk to our room from the front desk seemed like it was a very long walk. We finally got to our room. It was very clean and very cute. We were in the 50’s building. We ordered our food and my DH went to the front desk to wait for the delivery. Our luggage arrived about 1 ½ hours later.
By the time we ate, it was almost 2:00am!! We hurried to bed to get ready for our transfer to the Caribbean Beach Resort and our day at Downtown Disney!

Day 2 May 20, 2006– Caribbean Beach Resort and Downtown Disney –
We planned this day as a day to try to get back on track with naps/sleep, so we decided to just do our shopping this day. We checked out of Pop Century and were told that our luggage will magically arrive at the Caribbean Beach Resort in our room. We than decided to gab a bite to eat at Pop Century for a late breakfast early lunch. My DD’s and I ate a hotdog and French fries. My DH had a Soy Burger. He could not stop raving about the soy burger. He wanted to return to Pop just to eat the soy burger! If you are a vegan or just like soy burgers he highly recommends the soy burger.
After we ate we made our way over to the Caribbean Beach. We went in to the Custom House and there was a long line. I waited about 25 minutes to check in about 12:30pm. I finally made it up to the counter and was helped by Lynette. Lynette told me all of my requests that my AAA agent sent in have been fulfilled, as well as having my family in the same building and floor as us when they check in at the end of the week. Lynette than told me that there were two packages waiting for us. I asked Lynette if she could please have them put in our and she reassured me that they would be in my room once it was ready. After check in, we asked the bellhop services to hold my DH’s laptop bag, so we did not have to carry it. They held it in a cage, so it was kept safe.

We were now ready to hit Downtown Disney and Biddi Boddi Boutique. We were a little early for DD’s appointment, so we did some shopping. We had a blast shopping!! You can go hog wild there! After shopping it was time to check for DD’s appointment. My DD was greeted with an invitation that featured the hair styles she could choose from. Of course, she had to choose the pop princess hair do!! We were given a pager and told they were running about 20 minutes behind. About 20 minutes later our pager went off, and away we went! DH decided he wanted to accompany her, and he had a blast watching her get all dolled up! They first did her hair, which consisted of a funky hair style with rainbow colored fake hair, pixie dust, and Mickey Mouse hair clips! Next it was time for makeup, they did her make with shimmering lip gloss, blue and pink eye shadow, and blush. When she was done the Photo Pass people took her picture she was given a pink sash that say Biddi Boddi Boutique, and the make up they used on her. She was thrilled!!!! Everyone complimented her on how beautiful she looked 
After Biddi Boddi Boutique we made our way to the bus to head over to Cinderella’s Gala Celebration at 1900 Park Fare.
When we arrived we were there 15 minutes before our dinner reservation, so we checked in and were given a pager. We waited about 25 minutes before the pager went off. We walked in and spotted Cinderella right away and my DD’s were so excited! We sat down and were greeted by our server. We went up to the buffet, and we were very happy with the choices. The kids had macaroni and cheese with some chicken fingers. We tried the chicken marsala, the penne with shrimp, the mussels marinara, and the salad bar. For dessert the kids had ice cream and cookies, they loved their dessert! We had a delicious little pastry with a chocolate coin that had a picture of the castle on it. We also had banana foster, and bread pudding. Everything was excellent. My daughters were able to meet 2 of the mice from Cinderella, Prince Charming(who snubbed my youngest daughter..lol), and of course Cinderella. My girls were in awe, it was the cutest thing.

After dinner we went back to CBR to our room. When we walked in to our room to our dismay everything that Lynette said she took care of was not fulfilled.

First off, our luggage was not in our room. When you transfer from one resort to another it is not true that your luggage automatically goes to your room. When it arrives at the resort you are transferring to you must call bell services to have it brought to your room.
The next thing was all the packages that arrived at the front desk that Lynette said she would send to the room for us, were not there. Lynette never sent them. One of the packages was a basket from Peggy’s Sweets. Let me tell you, she did a fantastic job and if you are going to WDW and want a basket order from Peggy. I know that I will order from her again if we go in February 2007.

The bed rail that again Lynette said we would have in the room was not there.

The carpet by the front was filthy. We had housekeeping come and clean the carpet. We later found out that this sticky brown stain was coming from the A/C. The A/C was leaking and it would stain the floor, so we pretty much dealt with the remainder of our trip.

There were cobwebs above the beds on the lighting fixtures. The bathroom area had garbage underneath the counter. We called several times down to housekeeping and the Manager to take care of the problems with the room, and after several days they were corrected.

For those of you that are curious we stayed at Barbados.

We headed to bed once were unpacked and got ready for our first day at the parks. Bring on Magic Kingdom!

Day 3 May 21, 2006 – Magic Kingdom, but first Celebration Hospital for blood test.

I woke up extra early that morning to go over to Celebration Hospital for a blood test. This was mandatory since I have a pulmonary embolism and the only way I was allowed to go to WDW. Everything went smoothly at the hospital and before I knew it I was headed back to the resort to collect my family and head to the Magic Kingdom.
The first thing we did when we go to the Magic Kingdom was go over to guest services to collect my Guest Assistance Card. This card was a wonderful thing. With the heat the way it was we were able to get on the rides fairly quickly or wait in an area where it was cooler. I did have a doctor’s note, but they did not even want to see it. If you have medical problems I highly recommend the GAC.

We finally off for our first ride! We headed straight to Dumbo (thank you TGM). My daughter loved this ride! My DH took her since I was grounded from any rides that were to herky-jerky. We all went on Winnie the Pooh, Snow White, Peter Pan, and It’s a Small World(which we did about 6 times!!). My girls loved all the rides!!

Next we headed to the Haunted Mansion, surprisingly enough my girls liked this ride.

After Haunted Mansion we were pretty hungry, so we made our way over to Cosmic Ray’s. My daughters shared a Turkey Wrap and I had the same. I have to say it was pretty tasty. My DH had a hamburger and said it was okay. For dessert we had the carrot cake, which my mother who was accompanying us at MK finished. She gave it thumbs up!

After lunch it was time for us to go back to the resort for a quick rest before heading to MGM for dinner at Mama Melrose’s.

We all came back to the room for a rest and were happy to be in A/C, since it was very hot and humid out.

We all freshened up and headed to Mama Melrose’s. This was the first weekend of Stars Wars, and my DH had loved hearing the Star Wars music when walking in to MGM. He enjoyed seeing people dressed up and seeing some of the street shows that were Stars Wars themed.

We arrived at Mama Melrose’s and checked in. We waited about 10 minutes before being seated. The restaurant reminded me of a little place you find in Little Italy in NYC.

Our waiter came over and took our drink order. He was very friendly and accommodating. For the girls I ordered a pizza for them to share and for dessert they both had the Gelato. I order the Bruschetta and the Veal Osso Buco. Both items were excellent! DH ordered the Mozzarella and Tomatoes than for his entrée he had the Grilled Chicken Flatbread. He also loved his dinner. For dessert I the Warm Chocolate Truffle Cake and it was great. My DH had the Gelato and also enjoyed his dessert. If you ask him, this restaurant and another I will talk about are his two favorites!

After dinner we went back to our room and went for a swim. The quiet pool at CBR was great. I have to say the quiet pool and the landscaping were our favorite part of CBR, and that was the only part we were happy with.

Day 4 May 22, 2006 – MGM

We woke up fairly early and all ate breakfast in the room (we did this on all days except the day we left). DH placed an order from wegoshop.com for some more water and than we were off to MGM.

We waited a pretty long time at the bus stop for a bus that was not full (we waited about 45 minutes). At this point we decided that catching a cab if it is longer than 20 minutes for a bus is what we would start to do.

We arrived at MGM and decided that we were going to make this another half, since our little ones would not be interested in a lot of the rides.

The first ride DH and older DD went on was Star Tours. DH thought it was okay, but DD loved it!

Next we did the Great Movie ride and we were on in a flash. My DD’s loved this ride as well as we did. From there we headed to Studios Backlot Tour. We enjoyed this ride even though I got soaked! I told DH next time he rides on the left side! Lol

At this point we decided we were hungry, so we headed over to the ABC Commissary. DD’s had the chicken nuggets and enjoyed them. DH and I both had the Curried Chicken and enjoyed it very much. We also had the Strawberry Parfait and we thought it was good.

After lunch we headed back to CBR for a swim and rest before dinner.

We all got cleaned up and ready for dinner at Cinderella’s Royal Table. We arrived and checked in. We took our picture and waited to be seated. We were seated within 25 minutes of checking in.

I ordered my daughter’s the Mini Hot Dogs and for dessert they wanted the sorbet. The girls enjoyed their food. They also enjoyed seeing the mice again as well as the Fairy God Mother.

We thought the Fairy God Mother show was very cute!

DH ordered BLT Salad and the Salmon, he enjoyed both dishes. I ordered the Spring Roll and the Lamb, and I thought both dishes were very good. For dessert we both had the Blueberry Buckle and we both enjoyed dessert.

After dinner we went around trying to get pictures with the characters and were able to find Goofy, Winnie, Mickey, Minnie, and Donald. My youngest did better with the characters than my oldest one did. We than hit It’s a Small World once again (my girls can’t get enough of this ride!)

We also stayed to watch wishes and loved it!

After Wishes it was back to the hotel and in bed to get ready for Animal Kingdom.

Day 5 May 23, 2006 – Animal Kingdom

We got up a little late today, so we grabbed a quick breakfast and we were off to Animal Kingdom.

Again, the wait for the best was long, but this time we waited for the bus.

We arrived at Animal Kingdom and DH ran to get a FP for the Safari ride. We walked around the park for a little bit and caught the woman who looked like a vine. She was awesome!

We made our way back to the Safari ride and DH went on with older DD. They both enjoyed the ride.

Next, DH took DD to Kali Rapids. He got a FP and we once again walked around.

We returned for DD and DH to ride Kali Rapids. My older DD and DH loved this ride! They rode it 3 times that day! They also got drenched the last time they rode!

We had lunch at the Flame Tree BBQ. We all enjoyed our lunch there. My DD’s had the hotdog. I had the smoked beef sandwich and my DH had the fruit plate. We both had the frozen lemonade for dessert.

Once again we went hunting for characters and found Chip and Dale, as well as Pluto.

I have to say, because I could not do most of the rides, this park was not as enjoyable for me and younger DD.

After lunch we went back to the room for a rest.

We got a good rest and made our way over to Boma. We checked in and had about a 15 minute wait. The line for people who did not have ADR’s was pretty long, at least an 1 ½ hour wait.

My girls had chicken fingers and spaghetti. For dessert they tried cookies and the Zebra Dome. They enjoyed their meals.

My DH did not enjoy his meal. He thought the chicken was dry and the meal in whole was not great.

I enjoyed the Hummus immensely! I also enjoyed I believe it was a sausage soup and the Zebra Dome.

After dinner we went back to the resort and took a dip in the pool.

After our swim it was time for bed and to get ready for EPCOT!

Day 6 May 24, 2006 – EPCOT

After waking up and having breakfast we made our way out to EPCOT.

Dare I say again the buses were awful! I am not going to mention the buses again, because from this point on we did a Taxi. Needless to say, we were really disappointed in the wait time for the buses.

We arrived at EPCOT and decided we were going to do the Leave A Legacy. The girls took a great picture and were off to start our day!
We went to over to do Living with the Land and at the same time DH picked up a FP for Soarin’ for my older DD and him. We all enjoyed Living with the Land.

DH and DD really enjoyed Soarin’!

Next we were off to Figment and boy was that a cute ride! My girls enjoyed it!

After that we decided to grab lunch at Sommerfest. DD’s had frankfurters and we had the bratwurst. We thought everything was tasty.

After lunch DD and DH went off to ride Maelstrom. Younger DD and I found Snow White posing for pictures, so jumped on line. We also picked up so cute things from some of the pavilions.

DD and DH really enjoyed Maelstrom, and now we going to make our way to Spaceship Earth.

There was no wait at all at Spaceship Earth. We got on and we all enjoyed the ride. DH thought it was a little outdated, but enjoyable just the same.

After we went back to the room for a rest, because we needed to get ready for Chef Mickey’s!!

We arrived for our reservation and checked in. We also took a cute picture and waited for our table. We were seated within 25 minutes of our reservation time.

The food was good and the kids loved seeing the characters! DH could not help himself when he asked the waiter “Does the health department give you any problems, because you have 2 chipmunks, a dog, and a huge mouse that work in your kitchen??” DH is quite the joker and I am not sure if the waiter thought he was that funny!! Lol

I had the shrimp, the turkey pot pie (I loved this), the broccoli and some salad. DH had the same thing. We also tried a bunch of different dessert and everything was very tasty.

After dinner we walked around the Contemporary and than headed back to the room.

We were all looking forward to going back to MK!

Your best line is "Hoping for another trip in 2/07".

Glad you had a great time. It is interesting reading everyone's POV on the bus situation with WDW.

Day 7 May 25, 2006 – MK and the start of trouble!

We got a late start to MK, so we decided to eat at CBR Old Port Royale. The kids had PB and J. We had the tabouleh salad. It was very tasty and filling. After lunch we were off to MK.

We arrived at MK and decided to make this a leisure day. We did some rides we have done before, but really enjoy. We also knew that Saturday we were coming back with my whole family to celebrate my parent’s 50th wedding anniversary.

After a nice day at MK we headed straight over to Le Cellier for dinner.

We checked in and waited about 30 minutes past our reservation time.

We had a great server by the name of Amanda. She was super sweet and happy to answer any questions we had.

DH ordered the Caesar Salad and the Le Cellier Mushroom Filet Mignon. He loved this meal this and Mama Melrose’s were his favorite meals on the trip.

I ordered the girls a hot dog and chicken strips. They enjoyed their dinner.

I ordered the Prince Edward Island Mussels and the Prime Rib. This meal was to die for!! This was definitely my favorite!

For dessert the girls had ice cream which they loved. DH had the Chocolate Whiskey Cake and enjoyed it! I had a dessert that I can not remember but it was Strawberry with Ice Cream and Balsamic Vinegar. I know it sounds funky, but it was out of this world!

After dinner we stayed for Illuminations and all loved it! We walked around after and did a little more shopping.

We decided to go back to the room and get ready for my family’s arrival.

We get back to the room, and DH is doing some work. All of the sudden older DD starts coughing, I ask if she is okay and with that she is throwing up nonstop. I tell DH call the front desk and ask them to please bring sheets (it is 1:00am and youngest DD is crying, because she is tired and wants to sleep). Housekeeping tells DH it will be 1 ½ hours before we can get some sheets. Well, at this point I was livid, so I call down. I ask for the manager and tell him I want those sheets ASAP. I also tell him that DD may have food poisoning, so please bring extra sheets. Once they heard food poisoning I never saw people move so quickly. The manager came over to see how she was and had the girls with him who would change the sheet. He asked me if I needed the paramedics to come and at this point I could not stop the vomiting, so I told him yes. The paramedics arrived and said she does not look well and they suggest she goes to the ER. I told them fine and DH would stay with younger DD. We get all of our insurance cards and off we go. On the way to the ambulance the Manager tells me to bring a receipt from the Taxi that I will have to take back to the resort and WDW will reimburse me the cost of the Taxi.

We get to the ER and poor DD is still throwing up. I told the nurse that no one else is sick and she ate something completely different from all of us. The nurse said to me that this appears to be the rotovirus (I remember this from last year and when DD had it. This was a very frightening thing. We had her to the doctor/ER every 3 days because she would not drink and was dehydrating rapidly. It took almost 2 weeks for her to get over!). The doctor came in and confirmed the rotovirus and ordered anti-nausea medications as well as an IV. The nurse comes in and tried 3 times to get a line in her, but she dehydrated so rapidly that her veins were collapsing. Finally, the IV team comes down (after I demand for them) and tries 2 times. They finally get a line. After the line is in, DD is still hysterical (who can blame a 3 year old??) and the nurse yells at her to stop crying, well I just about lost it. I told the nurse you stuck my daughter 5 times, what do expect her to do sing and dance? I also said let me remind you she is only 3 and pretty sick. UUUGGGHHH....We are finally released and grab a Taxi back to the CBR.

We get back to the room about 5:45am. I give the prescription over to the front desk and wait for Turner’s to open to have it delivered.

My older DD falls asleep and we are now worried about everyone else contracting this virus.

It looks like we will not be doing anything the next day. We will just wait for my family and see how my daughter is feeling.

Glad you had a great time. It is interesting reading everyone's POV on the bus situation with WDW.

We really had a blast! I know that we will do somethings differently, but I have to say doing a lot of 1/2 days made it enjoyable for everyone. No one felt rushed and we knew we would be back again, so what we didn't do now we will do later.

The bus situation really was frustrating. I think if we stayed in a different building we would have not had that long wait. The bus usually did its last stop at Barbados and they were jammed. It you have 2 little ones and a stroller you really needed a seat. That being said we were not going to let it ruin our trip, so we remedied it by taking taxis to the park.

We probably should rented a car.

Day 8 – Family arriving and more trouble

Since we had a rough night we slept in. When my older daughter awoke she was doing better and hungry. I kept her on clear liquids until 2:00pm and than introduced some crackers. She did well with them, so we thought we were over the hump.

My family started to arrive and we had another incident with promises that my requests were fulfilled when they really weren’t. Lynette told me that my family is in the same building as me, but not necessarily near each other. That was fine, as long as we were in the same building. Well, I come to find out Lynette lied and never put in any requests! They tried to put my family in Aruba building, not even remotely close. DH and I knew that there were empty rooms, because Mousekeeping told me that about 8 rooms close to me were available and not filled for the weekend. I called down to the Customs House and asked for the Manager. I spoke with David who was very receptive to my situation. At first they wanted us to move and I told David for the past week I have kept calling your front desk to make sure that we were near each other. Every time I was assured everything was taken care. That was not true and now you want me to move my room with a sick child? David than gave my case over to Michele, I told Michele Lynette dropped the ball. They actually agreed with me! They than asked if they could call me back. About ½ hour later they called me and everyone was in the same building next to each other! I gave Michele a big kudos for her help.

Once everyone was checked in they came to our room to hang. My DD was doing better and we were again not sure if this was really a rotovirus.

Everyone was going to Spoodles for dinner and DD wanted to go desperately to be with her cousins. I agreed, but she would only have saltines and water.

DH said he would meet us at Spoodles, because he wanted to go hear the British Invasion at the Great Britain pavilion in EPCOT. I told him to go; there was no sense in 2 of us being cooped up.

We got ready for dinner and off we went to Spoodles. We arrived and checked in. We were seated with in 10 minutes of our reservation.

DD was still doing, so she had water and saltines. Other DD had Mickey Mac and Cheese.

DH had 4 cheese flatbread and for his entrée he had Lemon Chicken. He liked the food. He thought this restaurant was ranked high.

I ordered the Mediterranean Dips and than for my entrée I have a Veal dish that was excellent.

DH and I had the crème brulee for dessert and it was excellent.

After dinner I saw DD was looking glazed in the eyes. We returned to the room and I took her temp she was now running a fever, so we are back to this being a virus just NOT the rotovirus. I gave her meds and put her to bed.

We went to sleep pretty early we were wiped from the night before.

About 2:00am my youngest daughter wakes up and lets out a cry. She starts to vomit now! Once again I had Mousekeeping bring sheets and leave extras for mw. I called my pediatrician and told him what was happening. He told me I could give the medicine that my oldest was taking. I did that and she fell back to sleep.

Again, I knew I was not going to be doing anything the next day.

Day 9 May 27, 2006 – Keeping the kids in

My family decided to go MK this day. My kids were really upset that they could not go with their cousins, but clearly neither child was up to being out in the heat all day.

I told DH to go exploring and I would stay with the girls. I knew if he stayed in we would get on each other’s nerves being in close quarters and kids being sick.

DH decided to go watch more of the British Invasion at EPCOT.

I kept the girls well hydrated and medicated to help with any lingering nausea. As they day progressed there was no more vomiting, but it there bellies were still sick. They both had fever, but it was not as high as the previous day. We all napped for a good part of the afternoon.

By dinner time my DH asked if I wanted to grab something out and I told him to just bring something in for us. I did not want to chance taking them out.

He brought back dinner from Old Port Royale. We ate and went to bed.

Low and behold I woke up sick to my stomach. This not good, because the stress on my system was not what I needed! Again, I called our doctor and he told me just to stay hydrated and to use the medicine given to my older daughter. I did as he said and found that my fever came on right away.

I needed to be okay for Sunday. It was the big celebration dinner for my parents at Cape May.

Day 10 May 28, 2006 – Again we are in!

When I woke up I thought I was hit by a truck. I had a fever and was in no condition to go anywhere.

DH and I agreed to stay in and this time he would have to take care of the kids.

My family did Blizzard Beach and had a blast. By this time my nephew was now sick with what we had. Whatever it was very fast and furious.

I slept most of the day as did my girls and DH.

I woke up and was feeling okay. The girls were doing much better. We decided to go the dinner at Cape May.

We took the bus to MGM and on the bus DH starts to turn green! He was getting what we all had.

DH decided to go back to the room and we went to the Cape May Buffet.

We checked in and waited 40 minutes from our reservation time to be seated.

My older DD ate, she was back to normal. My youngest was still feeling the affects so; she was kept on a light diet. I did not eat a thing.

Everyone raved about the buffet and how good it was. I will have to make reservations for this again to try it.

After dinner we headed back to the room where DH was now running a fever.

We called it a night.

Day 11 May 29, 2006 – Doing better and going to MK!

My family had all departed by 11:00am. It was a little sad, because we really did not get to spend anytime with them. I also knew it was the last time we would probably all be together since my Mother had Alzheimer’s and is entering moderate/severe stage.

DH woke up and was feeling better. He wanted to do MK one last time and he wanted to keep our dinner reservations for Tony’s Town Square Café.

We went to MK and walked around Mickey’s Toon Town. The kids loved this place. We were not really up to going on real rough rides, so we did the more docile rides.

We arrived for our reservation at Tony’s Town Square Café and waited about 20 minutes after our reservation time.

We were seated and our server was very nice. My girls were back on regular diet and shared a pizza.

DH ordered the Fried Goat Cheese and the Chicken Florentine. He thought the Goat Cheese was great, but he was not impressed with the Chicken.

I ordered the Fried Goat Cheese and the Seafood Pasta. I agreed with DH the Fried Goat Cheese was great, but the entrée was blah.

We ordered Gelato for dessert and it was good.

We finished dinner and walked around some more before returning to the room to get ready for our departure tomorrow.

Day 12 – Crystal Palace for breakfast and departure

We were all back to ourselves and looking forward to the Crystal Palace for breakfast.

We first went to the Custom House to check out. We than went to get our boarding pass and check our luggage. This is a great service!

Next DH put our carry on items in to the cage and we were off to MK.

We checked in at Crystal Palace and were seated within 5 minutes of our reservation.

We loved, loved this breakfast! The kids loved the characters! Winnie was a big hit!

The food was great! We tasted everything and not one thing was bad. I will definitely do this again and maybe try the dinner too.

After breakfast we headed back to the resort to catch DME.

We had a few minutes to kill, so we were chatting with a family from England who also was not pleased with CBR. They said they not stay again and would either do Animal Kingdom Lodge or the Contemporary.

Before we knew it was time to board the bus.

We made it to MCO with out any problems. We checked in and our flight was actually a few minutes early! We were happy to know that.

We board the plane and 2 hours 15 minutes later back in DFW!

Our driver George was there to greet us. If anyone is in the DFW area and needs a car to take them to the airport, PM me and I will give you George’s number he was awesome.

When we got home DH and I talked about the trip. Here is the conclusions we came;

• We would not stay at CBR again.
• We will be going back hopefully 2/2007.
• We will try to stay at the BWI.
• You need to use Purell on your child’s hand after every ride. It may be anal, but a little will touch everything and put their hands in their mouth.
• We will stick to the cooler months. It was just too hot and humid for us. We are going to try February. We would rather have to layer than not be able to cool down.
• Doing the ½ days worked out really well for us! Everyone was happy and rested for the second half of the day.

If anyone has any questions please PM and I am more than happy to answer them.

Thank you for reading!! :)

Wow what a detailed report ~ you rock!
We were also at disney during that time. We checked into POP on Sunday morning May 21st and we also had dinner at Mama Melrose that day. We Loved Loved Loved it there. Our servers name was Pal (paul) and he was fabulous. He gave us the recipe for their Sangria which is sooooo good.
We ended up cancelling a chef mickeys reservation for Sat. 27th to go back to Mama Melrose's actually plus the kids wanted a 3rd day at mgm for all the star wars stuff.
Hollywood and Vine was like eating at a crappy Mcdonalds compared to Mama Melrose's ...at least the night we went.
Anyhow....I am so glad we decided to stay at POP instead of CBR. I decided to keep the $600.00 extra it was gonna cost us for the 7 nights to upgrade to CBR and I have to say we loved POP....excellent room, mousekeeping, food court and kids loved the pools. Plus the buses were amazing. Even after nightime fireworks we never waited more than 10 minutes for a bus in fact the longest was our last day 28th going to downtown disney it was 10-15 minutes and that seemed like forever compared to the rest of the week. It was like we got to the bus stop and ta-da there was the right bus!
So sorry the CBR was a dissapointment. I was thinking if we upgraded next year ...where would we go??? I really don't know.
Well.....funny to think we were at the same restaurant the same night. Ha
Hope everyone has "magical" memories of the trip despite the sickness.
Whenever my husband is having a craZy day at work now I tell him to end his conversations with people by saying "have a magical day" so funny. :rotfl:

Hey I just about forgot to ask....Why did you spend your first night at POP and then transfer over to CBR? Why wouldn't you just start out there? :confused3

After I wrote the trip report I was worried I gave out to much details..lol

That is too funny we were at Mama Melrose's on the same day...If there was a family near with a fussy little red head and a crying brunette....That was not my family..lol Just kidding...That was us...We really enjoyed their food and will definitely eat there again..

We switched over to CBR, because I stayed there 10 years earlier and remember how great it was...Also, we could not do an 11 day package through AAA...We needed to spend one night somewhere else and than transfer over to the hotel where we would spend the remainder of our vacation...I do wish I kept our Pop room instead of CBR..

Now I have DH hooked we will be going every other year...Although, his company is having a conference possibly at the Swan...So, we have decided to book a trip for 2/2007...I will tag along for his conference with the girls and we will get about 12 days at WDW if everything goes through...If not I still will get at least 7 days...After 2007 we will not be there until 2009...I love the planning stage..lol

Enjoyed reading your report ~ Thanx for sharing.

I really enjoyed your trip report! It was so refreshing to read about how you addressed unacceptable issues (such as being told no sheets for 1 1/2 hours!!)in a sensible and straightforward manner. It gets old having people who have bad experiences not address them at the time and then come back and whine here on the DIS. Sounds like you had a great trip in spite for the illness.

I enjoyed reading your trip report. It read like I was there with you. WOW to be sick on your vacation, all 4 of you! And I found it unacceptable about being told you wouldn't be able to get sheets for an hour and a half. RIDICULOUS!

My family likes Crystal Palace, too! We do this restaurant every trip we have been on.

Were you able to take any pictures?

Thank you! I always try to address any issue right away. Than if I do not make any head way I wipe out the trusty pen and paper to write a letter to the executive offices.
We really did have a great time! I can't wait to plan the next one. I am also glad that my DH is partaking in my love for WDW. I guess it works both way though, he is a Dallas Cowboys fan and I now follow football plus attend all the home games with him!

It is funny, prior to the trip I was diagnosised with a Pulmonary Embolism. I thought that since I was ill literally 5 days before we left that I would not get sick on the trip plus this would mean everyone else would stay well..lol Boy, was I wrong, but it could have been worse.

It still was a great trip and just to see my little ones with the characters made my heart fill with joy. I look forward to doing it again, and again with them!

We did take pictures a ton of them. I am waiting for DH to transfer them over to my computer. He is hogging them!

Thanks for your very candid report. Although you hate to hear negative things about a family's trip, it's good when you hear that Disney responded to your needs (even if it took talking to a couple of people).

I'm sorry that you and your girls got sick. It's never fun being sick, but being sick at Disney World has got to be the pits!

Thanks for posting.

Do you rememeber what came with the soy burger or what was on it?
