Our trip to our "Happy place" w/ pics & videos!!*new 7/7!!*Last day Magic Kingdom**

Your description of Coral Reef is right on, not bad but not a must return right away! EPCOT is so pretty at night!

I hope you find something that suits your needs. I know you have a family to cart around to ball games and such, so GOOD LUCK!

Have you gotten any racing info yet? I think it was supposed to mailed in October. :confused3
Thanks,Allie.:goodvibes I haven't gotten the info yet but Harley may have gotten it since she registered for all of us.I will ask her tomorrow.

Hi!:goodvibes I LOVE Epcot at night. Thanks for reading!

Magic Kingdom

Sorry there are only a few pictures for this night and they were taken by Harley.:goodvibes

When I last posted we were fleeing Epcot:rolleyes1.I had spoken to Harley a little while before "the climbing" incident so I knew they were on their way to MK for the EMH.I told the kids that as long as everyone was in a good mood (Re:Rae has had no nap:scared1: )we would enjoy the EMH.

We took the monorail to MK and Harley called to say they were just inside the entrance and where to meet them. We found the inlaws in front of the railroad station and we spent a few minutes catching up on our day.The kids wanted to ride BTMR and Harley wanted to watch Wishes. We walked to the bathrooms as a group while we decided what to do.Guess what I see when we get to the bathrooms? Rae sound asleep in her stroller. We decided that I would take the older kids to BTMR and the others would keep Rae with them and watch Wishes.

Let me just say here that MK was packed! I had the four kids hold onto me(hands, bag, etc) and we slowly made our way down mainstreet. The crowds were much lighter in Frontierland. My kids and I got our EMH bracelets and then we got in line for BTMR.They were not letting anyone on because Wishes was starting.:confused3 Now I know we have ridden this ride while the fireworks were happening before,so I am not sure why it wasn't running this time.

We stood in line and watched the fireworks which were beautiful even with missing some. The CM started letting people in line for BTMR but almost immediately stopped the line again.:scared: They announced technical difficulties but thought it would reopen soon. The kids wanted to wait so I called Harley and let her know what was happening. She said that they would head toward us.

It took about fifteen minutes before the ride opened and the kids spent that time educating some first timers on how to tour Disney.:rotfl2: It was quite entertaining...:rolleyes1

I almost forgot-while we were in line a man stepped to the side a couple of feet in front of us to smoke a cigarette.I could smell it but I am so NOT confrontational so I put Peyton on the other side of me and ignored it.Well the kids couldn't ignore it.:snooty: Matt started saying loudly that he thought there were smoking sections near. Then Trevor followed up with some comments that I can't recall.Of course Rebekah had to say something so she LOUDLY started asking Peyton if he could breathe and if he needed his inhaler.:rotfl2: The teenager right in front of us said"hey, dad,I think your smoke is bothering people!":rotfl:

We rode BTMR and as always it was awesome, especially at night.:woohoo: We met up with the rest of the group and the kids talked Harley into taking them back on.It took about 25 minutes for them to ride and I spent that time visiting with Bart,GiGi and Pappy.I have to say I love people watching...:upsidedow
AmyRspics050.jpg

We walked to the busses, making one more potty stop on the way.We got in a loong line and made it onto the third bus.:thumbsup2 Rae never woke up which was a huge blessing(no screaming fit! ) and all the other kids fell asleep too.I managed to wake them up enough to walk to the room and take showers.I hated putting Rae to bed without a bath:scared: but I couldn't get her to wake up.While they were showering I jotted notes in my notebook and then took my shower. They were asleep by the time I got out.Three parks in one day!:woohoo:

Coming up...Rachel finally meets her princesses....if I can get them out of bed....:rolleyes1

you have little tour guides and cm's who tell guests the rules (though the regular cm's should be doing it) good for them. I used to smoke and now I cannot stand it.
Great update.
:thumbsup2
sounds like a fun end to the evening.

Hi,Scott!:goodvibes Bart and GiGi smoke but they would never have lit a cigarette in a crowd like that.:guilty: Yes,the kids know alot about Disney and are not afraid to share it..:lmao:

Your kids are a riot, instructing others on how to best tour the parks and that smoking isn't allowed. Actually, they sound like me.:lmao:

they fall asleep at the weirdest times... Even being a recent smoker... just quit over a week ago.... I hate when smokers don't go to designated areas to smoke.... that's one thing I always considered common courtesy...

I see that you are training your kids well--they are already WDW touring pros....or they are severely brainwashed.;)

Kid can't help being honest. They say things we wish we could say.

Hi,Lessa!:goodvibes They are much more outspoken than me.:thumbsup2

Hi,Tanya!:goodvibes I knew Rae wasn't going to last for very long but I had hoped she would get to ride.Congrats on quitting!:cheer2:

Hi,Jordan!:goodvibes My DH would say I have brainwashed them.

kids after my own heart! they learned from the best.

that is just so rude and inconsiderate. i mean, how could he not have known that there are designated smoking areas?????? he knew....he just was being lazy and inconsiderate. that really ticks me off! how funny that a bunch of kids had to correct an adult's behavior! :sad2:

I love the fact that your children were educating the people in line around them!! How not to smoke and how to tour Disney. The important things in life:rotfl:

Hope you have great weekend. I am off the Cleveland to celebrate my Grandma's 90th birthday. :cool1: I will catch up on Monday.:goodvibes
Debbie

Poor little Rae; she finally conked out! It's great to be able to split up and meet up again when you're in a larger group... that way everybody's happy. :thumbsup2

princess: Looking forward to the Princess Meet!!

Kathy

It's great that you got to do what you wanted to, even if you had to wait a little. ;)

The smoking thing reminds me of something Woody did this summer. We were waiting at a stoplight after eating out, and a big biker dude comes to a stop at the corner where we're waiting (we didn't get the walk sign yet - must have been a turn arrow or something) and Woody very loudly turned to us and said, "Hey, he should REALLY be wearing a helmet!!!" :rotfl:

We're working very hard on "yes, our family usually follows the rules, but grown-ups can sometimes make their own choices, even if they don't seem right."

Amy- that's so funny the kids were telling people how to tour. the Dis works!!!!! I would totally tell people to get in the designated smoking area! gross!!!!

Still amazed at how much energy you guys have! I would have been asleep in the stroller with Rae! We were in bed by 9:30 every night except for MNSSHP (that night was 1:45 a.m. and yes we slept in!)

Hi,Dawn!:goodvibes Rachel and Rebekah were giving advice the other day to a friend who is planning a trip to Disney...I had tears in my eyes I was so proud... :rotfl2: That really was the only instance that I saw someone smoking near nonsmokers.

Hi,CE!:goodvibes It was worth the wait for the kids to get to spend time with their cousins.Way to tell 'em ,Woody!:rotfl2: We have the same conversations about "rules".

Poor little Rae; she finally conked out! It's great to be able to split up and meet up again when you're in a larger group... that way everybody's happy. :thumbsup2

Hi,Kathy!:goodvibes The splitting up did work out great.:woohoo: The princesses were what Rae had been looking forward to for months.princess:

Hi!:goodvibes My kids are like energizer bunnies in Disney. They are actually night owls here at home too so it works well for us.You slept in?! In Disney!?Wait until you read whjat happens when I attempt to get my kids back to the room for downtime...:sad2:

Amy- that's so funny the kids were telling people how to tour. the Dis works!!!!! I would totally tell people to get in the designated smoking area! gross!!!!

Hi,Leyla!:goodvibes Yep,the Dis works! Peyton actually reads over my shoulder alot.At least he's reading something....

I am uploading pictures and will have an update or two ready in a little while.I am looking for a second job and will have little free time once I get one, so I may be doing alot of updates in the next few days.:surfweb:

Another job...read in another post the bill thing and Christmas. I hear you, DH and I have been trying to figure for months now if and how I could get a PT job for those very reasons...but alas with a baby and DS and just everything else plus DH in school...it becomes more effort than it's worth. Christmas will be mighty small this year, but Disney in June will make up for it big time. I'll keep you in my thoughts. I'll be thinking of you! :goodvibes

Someone did this on Jo's thread and I got curious...

Disney2007340.jpg

Um this is kinda scary looking to eat....

My take on the meal-the bread was absolutelt fantastic!:cloud9: The rest was okay.Would I return here?Probably not but only because there are so many places I still want to try. Never been there either, but know some you have really enjoyed. Some day, when the kids are all older...sorry you had a mixed review.

Everyone must have just been hungry because sometime during the meal my grumpy children were replaced by happy children. GOOD DEAL!

I stopped in the giftshop to buy Rachel's promised sucker and Peyton bought a necklace and Rebekah bought a bracelet.

Awesome Bracelet Rebekah...my Re loved it too!We thought about riding Soarin' but the wait time was 70 min.:scared1:
Good choice! not to wait

We walked over toward Test Track, taking our time and looking around.I just love Epcot at night.

Test Track had a five minute wait!:woohoo: We could ride this ride a thousand times, especially at night. Just have to do that in June! Love the picture, very cool just you and the kids!
Disney2007362.jpg

OMG! I jumped over the chain and grabbed her.I ran back to the other two and without a word we speed walked toward the exit.It was time to go before we were asked to leave Disney world!:sad2: :rotfl2:

OMG ditto!
Sorry to hear Rae's sick :(

You can catch so many nasty things off stranger's socks :scared:

Very Funny! had to comment made me laugh marivaid!
Magic Kingdom

Guess what I see when we get to the bathrooms? Rae sound asleep in her stroller. Had to be her climbing excursion up the TT sign....JK

It took about fifteen minutes before the ride opened and the kids spent that time educating some first timers on how to tour Disney.:rotfl2: It was quite entertaining...:rolleyes1 LOVE IT! I was waiting for DS at OT and some little girl commented on my Mickey purse, so then struck up a conversation about WDW with her mom, then another mom waiting said her and her family (about 20) were going in May and when I made the comment about making ADR's she was like huh? :confused3 Think I need to write down I few notes and bring them to her next week....ahh, I guess we all can't be freaks.:lmao:

Glad they did speak up, I just so hate that too! Good for them and that it wasn't some big beefy scary guy....

Three parks in one day!:woohoo: IMPRESSIVE!

Coming up...Rachel finally meets her princesses....if I can get them out of bed....:rolleyes1

Can't wait for more. Well DH is home, the baby is awake and I guess I should make some dinner....bye

We HAD to sleep in after MNSSHP!! You see I'm old now; I turned 40 last month and it just sucked all the life out of me!! :rotfl2:

Hi!:goodvibes Thanks for reading and commenting on everyting. If Re likes the bracelet it was sold only at the giftshop in the Seas building.:thumbsup2 I understand how hard it is to fit in a second job.:scared1: With the kids activities(well just having four kids) it will be hard but we really have no choice right now.My parents and inlaws are going to help.:thumbsup2
