Epcot

I checked us in and the CM said they were running a little behind.We had about a fifteen minute wait and then we were seated.We had a decent view of the tanks but none of my pictures turned out very well.

Appetizers:
GP had Crab Claw Salad with couscous and frisee salad with citrus vinaigrette and mango-garlic mayonnaise.He liked the crab claws but not the couscous.

Entrees-GP and I had Grilled NY Strip Steak served with potatoes au gratin, and broccolini.We both really enjoyed this.

My take on the meal-the bread was absolutelt fantastic! The rest was okay.Would I return here? Probably not but only because there are so many places I still want to try.

I trimmed the quote down a bit just to address the things I wanted instead of making the quote a mile long...lol

This was where I chose to eat on my birthday.... I loved it!
We too had about a 15min wait for our table (I don't know if it is because they are so popular, or people linger longer due to the fish tanks, or because they just don't have good time management, but they do seem to run behind)

We sat right next to the tank and I got a few good pics.... (I will post them on my tr If I ever get to our Epcot day)

Apparently, GP and I have the same taste, cause we both seemed to have ordered the same thing... I too liked the crab claws but not the salad part!
The potatoes were the best that I had all week!! Actually the only time I even finished the potato portion of my meal....

If we do get to return to Disney next year, I am not sure if we will eat here again, but like you it is mostly because there are so many other places to try! But other than that, I would return!

So much to catch up on. I have to make this quick. Sorry. I couldn't really detect a southern accent but I'm sure if you spoke more I could ... . I think it's a little funny that Rae responded, "I had to," in regards to touching that woman's sock. Just a curious little soul but you caught her in time and did the right thing. I am thinking everyone thinks the same about the Coral Reef?

when we went to coral reef in May..it was the first time since I was about 10 or so so like 12 years later..and i was expecting it to be like all fish that you would find at like red lobster and it def was not lol. I can't even remember what I got, maybe the mahi mahi and it was "okay" but the dessert, chocolate wave was amazing. I did the whole divers sign/menus for my parents anniversary and I must say that was prolly the best part of the whole meal.

Now the fam wants to return to Coral Reef in feb..eh..I'll go but maybe try something different.

Okay - we must be the only oddballs that loved Coral Reef. We had the steak dinner and the girls had the chicken. It was delicious.

I loved the atmosphere of the place also.



It's definately on our list of ADR's next time around.

Great update. Sorry you didn't like your dinner too much. It didn't look that appetizing to me either. But the pictures were great. Too bad you didn't get a chance to ride Mission Space. And for only a 5 minute wait on test track. Boo for the 70 minute wait on Soarin.

Great Update. I am kinda bummed the Coral Reef wasn't a awsome place. I have always wanted to try it. But for the price I am not sure it is worth it.
