Amy - I am finally caught up. I just went away for a few days down at the beach, and I am behind on all my threads! Gotta love kids reasoning. That eyebrow looks bad, so lets make them match! Hey kids have to cut their hair (no matter where it is on their body) at least once in their life. I have a cowlick right in the middle of my forehead, and I decided I didn't like it, so I thought I would just cut it out. Well, of course it looked worse than ever when it was growing back.

Loved the RnR pics! That is so sweet.

I will have to show you a real Southern Accent in January. Think female Jeff Foxworthy.

Can't wait to see where you go next!

BTW, we told the kids yesterday about our Jan. trip. We had just gotten back from the beach, and I sat DD down and told her that in three months we would be running through AK. She is very excited! And DS is ok with it. He is out shopping for an XBOX 360 as I sit here and type. Actually DH told him about the trip first, and he was ok with it saying that he realized that he couldn't miss that much school. He is getting so grown up! Anyway, then DH told him that he could get his 360 now instead of having to wait for Christmas. This was our compromise. I think it worked! I just hope he has this much enthusiasm in January.

Yes, she said she HAD to see BandB show since we didn't get to do that last Oct. She saw your pictures from your TR, and loved them. She said she would like to do a character breakfast, but not a princess one because she "wasn't really 'into' the princesses anymore". She is happy with the one I scheduled. She is excited about our hotel choice, just keeping my fingers crossed about my requests. Go look at the peep thread and you can see our exciting adventure at the beach.....JAWS anyone?

She told me at the beach that she really enjoyed our mother/daughter time. I told her that maybe we ought to consider a trip just the two of us. She said that she thought that daddy (who she calls her best buddy) would feel left out. How sweet is that?

DS is upstairs playing as a type. He is on ! I took a video of him so that he remembers, that when he doesn't have a "big" gift to open Christmas morning, that he got it TODAY! I may have to play that video back to him on Dec. 25th.

Just pack up his "big present" a week before and give it to him at Christmas. If he's like Tyler a week without a game system feels like a month.

Not that she is leaving our her brother, we had talked about doing this while her brother was on one of his church trips. The youth group takes a lot of trips where he gets to go and she doesn't, so she wasn't trying to leave him out.

I was going to do an update tonight but I just can't.....

I know some of you have already heard but for those that haven't.

Farrah just informed us that aksunshine(Alicia) and her family were in a car accident last week and her baby boy,Levi,was killed. Her DD was spared but Alicia and her DH both have head injuries.
