Well, the family has returned monday. Wow, what a great week.

Driving went really well.

We left around 7:30pm on the 8th from Delaware.

The ONLY real traffic we hit was in Washington, DC/Northern Virginia area.
The kids fell asleep around 9pm as they were excited and just wanted to get there.

They did really well sleeping in the seats with a few pillows for extra cushion.

My wife drove a few hours so I could get some sleep in.

During the trip I listened to a lot of Podcasts and music.

We arrived in Brunswick, Georgia for Breakfast at Dennys.

Kids loved it as we were near an arcade and bowling alley. We hung out there after to ate to relax awhile.

Then we made the rest of the way down to Disney. While we were driving in some rain showers were hitting us in Orlando. Kids kept busy playing DSes and watching movies.

When we were a few exits away, my younger son threw up in the car out of no where.

We ate lunch a few minutes later at the MCD near the All Star Resorts.

IT POURED while we ate lunch. Kids enjoyed the TV there and it was a good time. We then checked in at the hotel at All Star Sports.

We got in the room, I took a nap from the overnight driving. My wife and kids went to play in the pool.

Then we went to play golf near Blizzard beach and we played Wintertime.

Then we went to downtown disney to shop and relax. Please note the buses to Downtown Disney are HORRIFIC. We drive again, we will definatly drive to downtown disney.

On Sunday the 10th, we went to Epcot. Early opening 8am. Had a great time.
We left at 7pm because the kids really wanted to go swimming.

On Monday the 11th, we went to Hollywood Studios opening 8am. One of the best days of the week for my kids. Best highlights was my 7 year old got to perform in Jedi Academy. We also all loved the Indiana Jones show, but I really recommend, either standing in line for 30 minutes or just fast passing. Well, we also loved Toy Story Mania. We went there to fast pass and then waited in line. When we came in the 2nd time thru fast pass then someone asked us questions about the ride and lady saw Melody and the kids and gave us fastpasses. We used those fastpasses late in the day and we loved Fantasmic that night got back to hotel around 10:30.

On Tuesday, the 12th we went to Magic Kingdom 8am opening. Kids really loved the day there. We had a wonderful lunch at Crystal Palace. We left around 8pm.

On Wednesday, the 13th, we went to Animal Kingdom 8am opening. Kids really excited and it was awesome. We left around 6pm.

On Thursday, the 14th, we returned to Magic Kingdom 8am opening. Another awesome day. We had an action packed day and saw the last SpectraMagic for a while that night and then we watched Wishes fireworks afterwards. We got back to the hotel at 10:30, yes, 10:30, we got right onto a bus and it left immediattly after we got on. It was awesome and perfect.

On Friday, the 15th, We returned to Epcot 9am opening. It was so awesome. We left 8pm, kids were really pumped.

On Saturday, the 16th, we went to breakfast at 9:30 breakfast at Chef Mickeys. Kids loved getting pictures and autographs. Which by the way was awesome all week. Then we took the monorail, did some minigolf(summertime), some swimming. Then relaxed.

On Sunday, the 17th, we drove to Epcot for the 9am opening. We had one issue on test track, where it broke down for 5 minutes in the dark. We asked for a what happened to the operator, one said he just got there and the other didn't even respond to us. I talked with a disney rep outside the ride, he offered to get us right back on the test track ride with no wait and we told him the kids really want to go on Mission to Mars now because I just wanted him to know how we were responded to because it was very unDisney like. He said he could get us on the ride with no wait as well. He toured us inside the glass window from right before the ride. Also gave us some facts about items on display. It really twisted our mood about the last ride and we really felt good. We had a lot of fun and in a lot of ways sad. We left at 2:30 and made our way home. Originally we planned on stopping during the night. Instead we drove straight thru and made it home at 6:30am.

Kids miss the rides and the characters but we have loads of videos, pictures, autographs and memories.

Excellent week. Thanks again to all. The drive was great and smooth. We took all the movies and games and they used 2% of it.
