Welcome to my 1st attempt at writing a trip report. I love reading about everyones trips, so I thought I would take a shot at it myself.
Cast of Characters-
Me-31-OCD planner and lover of all things Disney
DH-41-Not much into the planning, but loves Disney also
DD-9-Like me, she loves the planning and really likes all the rides
DD-6-Still a princess at heart and loves to swim
DS-17mts-Sweetest baby boy ever and spoilt rotten by his big sisters

This will be my son's 1st trip and the 3rd for everyone else. We 1st went as a family in 2004. We stayed with a family member and had 4 day hoppers. We had a good time then. We went in May, and the weather was great. Here is a picture from that 1st trip. The girls were 2 and 4. They look so little!

Or 2nd trip was in 2006. This was our 1st time on sight and we stayed at POP. We had 6 day base tickets. I was 9 weeks pregnant. We told the girls I was pregnant the 1st night of our tip and it was a great suprise for them. We had a wonderful time then as well. I can't find my pics right now of that trip, but maybe i will later. This time,we again stayed at POP from 9/20-9/27. We had 7 day base tickets and also 1 night MNSSHP tickets.

We left on Friday the 19th because we drove this time. We made it all the way and stayed at a nice hotel on Apopka blvd., about 5 minutes from our exit. I tried to get a room at POP, but they said they were all full. Anyway, it was about 1 am so we were pretty tired. It was an 11 hour drive for us. The drive wasn't too bad, but I don't like car trips, so it was long for me. We got up that morning and had breakfast at the hotel and then made our way to check in at POP.

Check in took about 20 minutes. Our room was ready (it was only about 10am) so we went ahead and unpacked and decorated our window. Since we had a car, we drove to the Contemporary for our 1:45 lunch reservation. This was to be my son's first sighting of Mickey Mouse (whom he loves to watch on tv). We were really looking forward to his reaction to the characters.

We weren't disappointed. He loved them! I was so relieved. I was really nervous about this, but it all turned out ok!

Our next thing on the agenda for today was to visit the Main Street Barber Shop for my son's 1st haircut. We had been anxiously awaiting this moment for a long time. I had mixed feelings about this because I really wanted to do this here, but I was very attached to his curls! After Chef Mickey's, we took the monorail over to Magic Kingdom. It was about 4:00, so we went ahead and got in line at the barber shop. We had to wait about 45 minutes. It was kind of emotional for me and my husband, but I am so glad that we went thru with it. It was a great experience and Michael did a really good job with him!

Thanks for your nice comment. I am really nervous about doing this report because I'm not a real great writer, but we did have a wonderful trip and I just wanted to share it with everyone!
