ok this is my first time posting a trip report so please forgive me.....
our trip started actually on 6/1 we had to drive to newport news to catch the flight at 5:30 am so got a room there and we ate at cheddars rest. which we actually loved!!
i couldnt sleep at all that night all i kept thinking of was that commercial that they use with the little boy "I'M TOO EXCITED TO SLEEP" that was me
well 4:00 am came around so we were off to catch our plane. we arrived in orlanco around 11:15 am looked for the magical express bus and off we were to check in. we were hoping that a room would be ready for us when we got there. once there we checked in and wouldnt you know a room was ready for us!! we stayed at the pofq and absolutely loved it!!! we were in building 5 and upgraded to a waterview room!! i couldnt ask for more. so once we took our luggage up we headed to downtown disney (a tradition we have for our 1st day) and ate at Earls Sandwich, then headed over to disney quest for a day of fun. we left dq to head back to hotel to have an adr at boatwrights which was our first time there and it was really good food! then we had a ressie for a carriage ride but it was 9 pm and we were too tired so we canceled the ressie and headed back to the room to go to bed.
day 2
we woke up late and spent the morning at the pool then ate at the food court at pofq then we headed to mgm where we did the tot and rnr and got some character pics, then we went to eat at the prime time cafe for an adr, we enjoyed that too which was a first for us also. after that we went to riverside to see yee haw bob again whom we love he just makes the trip more enjoyable.
day 3
today we went to mk and we did adventureland and we found dolewhips and actually enjoyed them too much, and then we went to frontierland and then had an adr at tonys we attempted to watch wishes but again we were too tired so went back to the room.
day 4
today we had a tour at ak (backstage safari) and it was quite interesting, after the tour we ate at flametree bbq and then stood in line for ee, after the ride we went to the room to rest and then off to epcot we go! we head to epcot to do a wine flight in germany and then adrs at biergarten (another tradition we do) after dinner we took our time to head back to the buses.
day 5
today we decided it would be a easy day so we rode the sea raycers at the poly and ate lunch at capt cooks (wasnt too impressed ) then we relaxed by the pool, had adrs at rose and crown for illuminations (another tradition) and had beer flight there.
day 6
woke up and spent the morning at fantasia gardens for putt putt and then off to epcot for lunch at tangerine cafe and then we went to mgm and finished up there on rides we hadnt done and had an adr at brown derby then fantasmic!
day 7
had a tour this morning at mk for the keys to the mk, actually loved that tour had lunch at the columbia harbor house and went to toon town then back to the room we ended our evening once again at epcot and at at the fish and chips shop in uk
day 8
mk again today did fantasy land and tomorrow land ate lunch at pinocchios village haus also rode splash mountain but the ride broke down twice once while we were loading and then while we were on it right before the drop they took us off the ride and walked us behind the ride quite exciting then we had adrs at liberty tree and watched wishes that night.
day 9
easy day ate lunch at cosmic rays and just loafed around mk had adrs at 1900 and loved it i called ahead and ordered the chocalate slipper and the mickey mouse which was a surprise to dh then back to see yee haw bob
day 10
ate lunch at studio catering and just walked around mgm then headed off to akl for adrs at bomas which we both enjoyed.
day 11
time to go home we checked out and headed to downtown disney to do last minute shopping, needless to say it was raining ALL DAY LONG due to the tropical storm and then went back to hotel to wait for bus to go to airport(we had that chocalate mickey still as well) got to the airport and our flight was delayed and when we finally took off we did a layover in atlanta and missed our connection (along with everyone else) and ended up staying in atlanta for 9 hours till next flight(still had chocalate mickey-hoping he dont melt) finally left atlanta and landed in newport news(never again will we fly airtran!!!!!) yes mickey did make it!!! yipppeeeee!!!!
all in all the trip was fun it was extremely hot for us but we managed.
