Our Trick AND Treat- DD's Surprise Bday Trip! 11/4 Get Movin'

Happy Easter Everyone!!!

That was such a tease wasn't it? You thought I put up an update didn't you?!??!

Yes, I did think you were updating. You've been quiet lately. Busy with bunny stuff I suppose.

Happy Easter back at ya!

How about an Easter update? It's not that exciting...has nothing to do with Disney...but it does include pictures!!! Sorry, we just haven't been that exciting lately ;)

And the best Easter gift ever....to try and tie Disney into this somehow. It's a World of Disney globe showing all the characters where they would reside.

I'm still in shock.

A store bought Easter dress?!

Love the closeup pictures. Got to do that to my clan someday.

What?!!?!? WHAT?!?!? ST....ST.... (I don't think I can even type it!) STORE BOUGHT DRESS?!?!?! Are you feeling ok T??? I tend to scan posts, so maybe I missed something? If you are feelign ok..... LIE ABOUT IT!! You'll never live it down if ya don't!! :rotfl2:

That is one beautiful little girl you have there my friend. Such a sweet, precious little face.

Considering how busy you were last week, I am impressed that you had time to buy an Easter dress. Welcome to the dark side! I did make DD's Easter hairbow that she thought was awesome and told everybody about. She will really be impressed once I try this sewing thing.

Great minds think alike! The Easter Bunny brought Jordan new Disney Crocs and Madagascar 2 too! We better be careful - we may get kicked off the DIS altogether for buying a non-Disney movie.

Love the pics! My Canon Rebel XT has been giving me trouble so I think I am going to bite the bullet and buy the XSI.

Jordan is in countdown for NYC - 9 days.

Sure it does!! DD's wearing a Minnie t-shirt!! ;)

Kathy

She IS wearing a Minnie shirt. MY Minnie shirt! Adult tshirts work perfect for painting shirts for kiddos

I know, I know! Can you imagine??? She was so mad that I had made her NOTHING to Easter. Bad bad Mommy! But it was soooooo hard to get anything done with the mono I'm suffering from ;):lmao:

Adorable Easter pics! :goodvibes

Thank you! Sorry that they were a repeat for you!

Don't be that impressed...I didn't buy it either :scared1: Her little friend from school got it for her for her bday in October. My issue with Easter is that every year I buy a frilly dress and every year it's FREEZING so the dress gets worn once for a couple of hours and it's covered up with a winter coat most of the time. So I decided to just have her wear a dress she already owns. I feel bad that I didn't make her SOMETHING though!

What good easter bunnies we have! As you can see, we don't really give her candy. So I might as well give her things like Crocs that I would have had to buy anyway ;)

What's up with your camera???

We still have 14 days until our NYC trip. Keeping my fingers crossed for good weather!!

I need pics of the hairbow btw!!!

She is such a cutie patootie! :goodvibes

I've never seen that globe puzzle, nice one! :thumbsup2

Thread hijack about to take place. If you are not Kristine, feel free to avert your eyes! :lmao:

It looked like an Eastery dress to me. Although I do buy Jordan new dresses for Easter, I don't buy really frilly ones. I always get ones that can be worn for other occasions.

Great minds think alike! I have been saving up stuff I would normally just buy her and am using it as gifts like the crocs, etc.

My camera is having focus issues which apparently is pretty common with Canons. Low-light and close up are hit or miss. I tried switching lenses to make sure it wasn't a lens issue.

Here is a photo of the hairbow per your request. It was my second bow (made right after the first one).

Since I know you are a scrapbooker, I also wanted to show you the autograph book I made for a Big Give. It is the first autograph book I have made. The pages of the book are adhesive cardstock so the mom can just cut off the holes and stick them in an album if she wants to.

This photo is for you and Lady Lallie in keeping with your light fixture theme. These are the streetlights in Hershey, PA. They are wrapped and upwrapped Hershey's kisses. (I live about 20 minutes from Hershey.)

JEN!!! What a great job!!! I love the autograph book. What a great idea with the adhesive cardstock!

Those lights are still in Hershey??? We went there on vacation when I was a kid...you know, a couple of years ago ;) and they thrilled me back then! Does the town still smell of chocolate in the summer?

Sorry to hear about your camera. How long did you have it?

Just popping in to say hi! In a TR update, I will start piecing the snow white applique this weekend! Fun times!

Thanks for the compliments on the autograph book! I was a nervous since they were my first ones but I am pretty happy with how they turned out.

Yes, Hershey still smells like chocolate!

I only had the camera about 2 1/2 years but it was used hard! It has taken over 6000 pictures and gone to WDW three times. I also take it everywhere and it gets banged up a lot, thrown in purses or bags, etc.

So what you are saying is that I probably need to take her measurements soon huh?

2 1/2 years??? Oh no! You are handling that WAY better than I would have. I need this camera to last more than another year!!! I'm house-hunting right now. I think Randy will divorce me if I tell him I need a new camera.
