We went today. Kevin-thanks for the review! We really enjoyed it. When we first started looking at the menu, I couldn't figure out how you guys could feast for $25. It wasn't high, but later I realized that rice and beans came with everything, and sodas were included. It turned out to be very reasonable for us. Next time I would get an order of chips and salsa, although we didn't need it. I brought home half my order. Great service and even DH liked his food!

Our TF has something called the Tijuana Trio.

It's guacamole, queso and salsa with chips. The cost is something like $4/99 and the REFILL the dips for your.

We get the Chimichange. John likes the chicken and I get the blacked chicken.

The Chimi comes in three sizes....medium , large and megajuana. We get the middle size and it comes with rice and beans.

Two dinners, two drinks and endless guac, queso and salsa with chips is under $25.00.

Awesome...awesome ...awesome.

Now you tell us...we were in that part town last night too. We went to our usual spot instead (okay for the 3x this past week).

We need a better Disney Store.

I got the mini chimis (both chicken) and refried beans with rice-today's special. DH got a chicken and bean burrito. I kind of wish I had gotten that, because I really wanted grilled chicken (I'm pregnant-it was today's craving). The price was definitely good once we knew how much it came with. We probably won't do the trio since we don't eat guac, but the queso was good!

NC Belle-you'll have to get back over there!! What's your usual place? Might be somewhere we need to try. I definitely agree about the Disney store-it is lacking. I'm hoping with the latest "big changes" we'll see some improvement. I still go in frequently, though!

We go to El Senor (not a chain restaurant) in Knightdale (not too far off of 540). They do have a nice selection of dishes and some can come in half-portions. 2 sodas, 1 fajita beef taco salad, 1/2 portion of Burrito San Felipe (tortilla filled with sliced grilled chicken or beef with tomato, onions and nacho cheese, served w/ rice or beans plus served with lettuce, tomato,sour cream), and free baskets of chips and salsa was under $19 before tip. One of the owners just came back from visiting his mom in Mexico. They have a lunch menu, regular menu, and now a separate menu for new items.

I think they won awards in the past couple of years for being one of the best Mexican resteraunts in East Wake County area.

Congrats on the feature DISer. The Disney Store had a lot of cute baby items/clothes.
