Me, DH and DS4 are planning to visit starting on September 26th. We took DS4 last year too, but we only stayed for 3-4 days and really didn't get to experience as much as I would have liked. This is our tentative itinerary for this year's trip. Any suggestions or comments would be much appreciated.
You'll note that we typically have 2 sit down meals a day which we like. Also there is no "nap time." DS4 does not nap. Ever. I think the last nap he took was when he was probably a year old
Our typically touring plans include us getting up at a somewhat early hour for breakfast, staying at the park most of the day, coming back for an "early" dinner and then chilling out at the pool for the evening. He does really well with this scenario. If you try to take him back in the afternoon, he will not go back to the parks in the evening which results in our losing the majority of our park day. In his mind, once we're back at the hotel, we're done for the day and he gets to swim until bedtime.
Saturday
Arrive (driving down from TN) around 3-4 p.m. Check in at Polynesian
Dinner at Kona 5:30 p.m. and chilling at pool
Sunday
Epcot Day
8:30 a.m. breakfast at Chef Mickey's
Lunch at Sunshine Seasons
6:30 p.m. dinner - Teppan Edo or Flying Fish (we've been to Teppan Edo before but I'm really pushing for Flying Fish this year. I understand we can walk there from Epcot? Or take a boat maybe?)
Monday
Magic Kingdom Day
8:30 a.m. breakfast at 1900 Park Fare
Lunch somewhere quick in the park - probably Columbia Harbor House
7:00 p.m. dinner at Citricos, California Grill or perhaps still in park somewhere - can't make up my mind. Suggestions?
Interjection - I would really love to see Spectro as we haven't seen it before. I believe it's usually on Sunday nights. We may possibly switch these two days in order to see it. I *think* EMEH will be on Sunday so I figure Spectro will likely be that night.
Tuesday
Super Busy Day! Hollywood Studios and MNSSHP
Quick counter breakfast at hotel
12:30 p.m. Lunch at Sci Fi
Quick dinner breakfast at Magic Kingdom for MNSSHP
Is this too much?
Wednesday
Rest Day and Downtown Disney
9:30 a.m. breakfast at Ohana (sleeping late)
Quick counter lunch at hotel (we'll likely hang out at the pool most of the day)
6:00 p.m. dinner at TRex in DTD
Thursday
Magic Kingdom - Part Deaux
8:00 a.m. breakfast at Crystal Palace
Quick Lunch in the park
7:00 p.m. dinner at Narcoosees
If I can swing it, I may sweet talk DH into going back to MNSSHP tonight. It's a long shot, but gosh I LOVE Halloween
:
Friday
Drive home day
So we have to drive home on Friday rather than Saturday because DH is a huge TN Vols fan (family has had season tickets for literally like 50 years). They play Auburn on Saturday and DH refuses to miss the game. So we have to drive home
Planning on 8:30 a.m. breakfast at Kona to send us on our way.
Thoughts? DS4 will ride everything he is tall enough for. No fear. He is a real trooper and loves going through the parks. How do the ADRs look? Any suggestions? Places I may have overlooked? Logistical problems you see?
