We came back to the real world on Saturday. We spent 8 glorious days at Wilderness Lodge concierge level. From the moment we arrived, everything was magical. The CM's were all very nice. The food offerings were very good. Roaring Forks was very convenient for a quick bite to eat. We ate there a couple of times and it was quite tasty. The pool was very refreshing after a hot day at the parks. We had no problem finding a lounge chair. The bus/boats were running in a timely manner. Our wait time was usually 5-10 minutes. The grounds at Wilderness Lodge are just beautiful. The lobby is just amazing. My favorite thing to do is sit in a rocking chair in the lobby and people watch. We ate breakfast at WCC twice. It was very fun. Our waitress said my DH looked bored. She said she had something for him to do. He had to go to the middle of the restaurant and lead everyone in the Hokey-Pokey.
Housekeeping was adequate. I think they could have done a better job. We were able to watch the fireworks from our balcony. I cannot say enough about the CM's there. They went out of their way to make sure our stay was magical. I have two DD's. CM Brandon found out their favorite character was Jasmine and Stitch. One day when we got back to the room there was a personalized autograph from Jasmine and Stitch along with a chocolate bar. My girls were speechless. Our entire vacation was truly magical. I hated to leave but I'm already planning a trip for December. I hope that everyone can have as magical a stay at Wilderness Lodge as we did.
