13 September 2011 - Planet Hollywood - 5.30pm - This was the only time available but am keeping it until we are 100% sure of what time we will be arriving on this day. If necessary, may cancel and just try and turn up.

These sound great! I think we're dining at Jiko the night you are at Boma! :)

Hey we are going to be at Sanaa at the same time! We'll probably see you there granted anything doesn't change before then. :goodvibes

Hi Tanz,

Sorry I got behind and I am catching up. First of all congratulations on the PGCE. :thumbsup2 How exciting to embark on a new career. Best of luck to you!!

Goodness, sorry about all the turmoil on the flights and rearranging your plans. Looks like you did a great job again adjusting your plans though. Visiting IOA on a Monday instead of the weekend should turn out to be an improvement. Overall this still looks like a wonderful trip you have planned.

Your new schedule looks great. You've picked a great, very low crowd time to go. :thumbsup2

Cali Grill is amazing. I had such a wonderful time there on my last visit. I highly suggest the Valrhona Chocolate Cake dessert! I've had it 4 times now and can't bring myself to order anything different! :rotfl:

You have another of my favorites with Sanaa. You probably have lots of great Indian in the UK, so don't go in to Sanaa expecting anything authentic. I call it 'Indian-inspired', so as long as you take it for what it is, you will appreciate the wonderful food. The setting is just amazing too.

You're visiting a lot of places I have not been, so I expect a DR when you get back!

Everything sounds great and you are right we are crossing paths on a few of those days, even EMH on the 19th at MK. Maybe we'll see you there :)

You are travelling at the exact same time as we did last year...I loved September in Disney...the crowds were fantastic and the weather not quite as humid as August.

Your plans sounds great....I think changing WWOHP to a weekday is a great idea...hoping for low crowds for you!!

Your ADR's look great too....made me hungry just reading all of them.

These sound great! I think we're dining at Jiko the night you are at Boma! :)

Thank you - am looking forward to eating at each and every place! :thumbsup2

That is cool!! What time are you dining at Jiko? Will keep an eye out for you and DH at AKL :goodvibes

Hey we are going to be at Sanaa at the same time! We'll probably see you there granted anything doesn't change before then. :goodvibes

That is great! :thumbsup2 If both our ADRs remain the same (which I am hoping they will) then I will definitely look forward to seeing you guys at Sanaa :goodvibes

No problem Clearskies - thanks for catching up. Thank you for the congrats and luck - the new career path is exciting but tiring and stressful at times as well!

I know - not what I had predicted to happen when I started planning this trip! However, I always get told everything happens for a reason and the change in dates has resulted in some improvements to our plans such as IOA on a Monday :)

Your new schedule looks great. You've picked a great, very low crowd time to go. :thumbsup2

Thank you - am so glad we've picked a time when the crowds are low. I don't think I could handle a high level of crowds on a first trip!

I have read great reviews of CG on the dining boards and am really looking forward to trying it for myself. Thanks for recommending the Valrhona Chocolate Cake Dessert! :thumbsup2 If you have had it 4 times and still keep wanting more, then will definitely be ordering one on our trip!

We are also looking forward to our meal at Sanaa. We have eaten at some great Indian places in the UK and am not expecting 'authentic' food from Sanaa. Just looking forward to something a little different. However, Zaheer loves curries and I think he is expecting similar food to that offered in the UK - am trying to tell him it will be different, but may just let him have to see for himself! :rotfl:

Don't worry - I will be doing a DR but may be including it in my TR rather then doing two seperate reports :goodvibes

Everything sounds great and you are right we are crossing paths on a few of those days, even EMH on the 19th at MK. Maybe we'll see you there :)

Thank you - maybe we will. I always think it's funny when you meet people who live in the same country as you on a trip abroad or in another country! ;)

That's great to hear Queen! :thumbsup2 Am hoping we will have a similar experience. Will try and read your Sept TR from last year to help me with my planning.

Thanks - when I saw that we were going to be changing WWoHP to a week day I was very pleased!

They make me hungry as well. I have looked at the menus so many times that think I have already eaten at most of the places :rotfl:

The new schedule and ADR's look great! :cool1: I didn't know you could make an ADR for a DHS restaurant after it's closed! What a great idea! I love walking out of a park after it's closed, we did that at Epcot last year when we got out pretty late from our dinner at Le Cellier, we were leaving as a lot of the CM's were leaving and just listening to the music they play after Illuminations, it was awesome!

:cool1: I am glad you were able to get all of your ADR's switched around! We love Boma and Tusker House. They are two of our must do's.

So as I mentioned I would post our new plans today thought I'd better get onto it! Let me know what you think.

13 September 2011 - Arrive, relax and head to DTD
14 September 2011 - AK
15 September 2011 - MK
16 September 2011 - Epcot
17 September 2011 - DHS
18 September 2011 - Typhoon Lagoon and then EMH at MK - hoping to last until the end!
19 September 2011 - IOA - Another reason why I am glad we changed the dates is that we will now be heading to WWoHP on a Monday instead of a weekend day. I'm hoping this will result in lower crowds :yay:
20 September 2011 - Epcot
21 September 2011 - Non-park day - Surprises/DQ/TTC for wishes or golf!
22 September 2011 - DHS
23 September 2011 - Blizzard Beach/DTD - may change to include MNSSHP ;)
24 September 2011 - AK
25 September 2011 - Another non-park day - Resort hopping
26 September 2011 - MK
27 September 2011 - One last time at Epcot before returning home :sad2:

Our dates have changed but our plans should pretty much remain the same as already posted - will go back and change the dates/order of this PTR

For any newcomers welcome and thank you for reading. If you have followed the links then you will not have noticed anything wrong! However, if you decided to read all the chitter-chatter then you may have realised that the park days are not in any logical order! Hopefully, the change in dates post will help explain the reason behind the mad layout!! ;)

Your plans look great! :thumbsup2

I think being able to go to WWoHP on a week day is defintly better than a weekend, I have heard it is less crowded then.

Thanks! I had read you could make ADRs for after closing at MK and Epcot but had not heard of being able to do that at DHS, so was pleasantly surprised when the time came up when I searched for it! ;)

I am looking forward to having the park more or less to ourselves - hope we get a similar experience to that of you guys when leaving Epcot! :cool1:

:cool1: I am glad you were able to get all of your ADR's switched around! We love Boma and Tusker House. They are two of our must do's.

I know so am I! Was a little worried that we may have to change some or do them at different times but there were still all our times available! :thumbsup2 Am glad we are eating at two of your must do places - will let you know what we think after our trip :)

Your plans look great! :thumbsup2

Thank you!

I had heard the same thing and was a bit worried about attending WWoHP on a weekend. Am glad our rescheduling means we are now going on a weekday :)

That is cool!! What time are you dining at Jiko? Will keep an eye out for you and DH at AKL :goodvibes

Monday the 19th, yes? We'll be dining at 8pm. I've been practically drooling over the menu, with is rather pathetic six months out, I know...but both spots sound like they have amazing food!:cool1:

In that case you will still be there when we arrive! :cool1:

That is definitely not pathetic - I have been looking at the menus, pictures and reviews since I booked our trip which I believe is longer then six months!

Congratulations on your certification! I find that the 15-19 age range is human and the 11-14 age range are nonhuman. hehe.

Fortunately, I teach tenth and eleventh graders. Ninth graders and middle school kids are tough...they are so uncomfortable in their own skin that they are cruel. They probably are more managable in a computer course though!

What a mess with flights. What a terrible mess to clean up. It sounds like you are handling it well and it is all in the works to be fixed.

The positive side is that you got to play with your planning. ;)

Good luck with your job search!

Thank you! I like the 11-13 age range who are still young and treat you with respect and then 15 upwards as they have matured. However, agree with you on the ninth graders - they are normally my worst classes! They are just at that awkward stage where hormones are all over the place and they are not happy - they are the only year that are probably still the same in a computer class!

I actually have an update about the flights which I am going to post in a minute. I feel so happy that it has all worked out and I did enjoy playing around with our planning! :thumbsup2

Thanks - I hope I find something soon but know I'm not the only one searching and it is hard at the minute.

Hi everyone, hope your all having a good Friday and looking forward to the weekend! :yay:

Looks like we finally got some pixie dust (thanks for all your posts sending some our way) as flights are now sorted!! :woohoo: Can finally put the stress behind me! :)

We have decided to stick with the company we originally booked with in the end! After hassling them for a few days they have decided to give us free transfers from Sanford to Pop Century resort!! I went back to ask about the Virgin Airway flights we found but they have increased in price so it made sense to stick with our original booking, as it is a lot cheaper!

Also, I had an interview this week. I did not get the job but was told that I came close second - not good to hear but at least it's positive feedback. Hopefully, the next time I will be offered the job.

Finally, I was very pleased at what came through the post a couple of days ago!

Can't wait to go and see Thriller! I'll let you know what I think once I have seen it.

Hope you all enjoy your weekend :)

Glad they offered to give you the transfers and now your flights are set :woohoo: Booking the airfare always makes the trip seem very real to me!

That's too bad about the job, but like you said, at least you got good feedback. Keeping my fingers crossed that you find one soon!
