Update on my nephew. They took him to the doctors yesterday and they had to change his meds. So today I went to see him and they said I was the first person to get him to laugh and to get up and play.. He was very tired when I left him. I was told I wore him out.. He was congested but to me doing very well compared to what he went through..

So sorry he's been having a rough time! I'm glad Aunt T got him to laugh though! I hope he continues to improve!

What's everyone have planned for today?

We are going down to see our new niece. Then we are taking Chris to a Christmas train thing and having cake for his birthday with his cousins. Tonight my in-laws are watching the kids for a little bit so we can grab the last few Christmas gifts we need. Of course, the afternoon/ evening are weather dependent, so we'll see..... Thanks ....We are going to the Culinary Institute of America. THey have four restaurants there....We are going to the French Restaurant and are bringing the girls...I can't wait.

I am 57% (Dixie). Barely into the Dixie category.

At least you made it! (You'll have to represent for we Virginians!) I was about 67% yankee, which is SO SO not true!!!! Between by (very mild( accent, but over abundant use of "y'all" I dont see it.... I think the thing that threw it all off was that I dont say aunt to rythm with the word Ant - that may automatically made you UN-Southern!

The back...well I ..Ummm....Was pushing an old lady out from in front of a car. Yeah that's it!

Wow - you are so nice to push that old lady to safety!!

Oh...yeah.....I've had two back surgeries.....I've helped a TON of little old ladies too!

ok we went last night and cut down our christmas tree. Its an hour drive there and then an hour drive back. Usually we are in the field for at least an hour.... We had our tree picked out in less than 10 minutes and were on our way.

Now lets see how long it will take for us to decorate it..

VERY purdy!!!!! Is it decorated now? I want to see!!!!

Ok Peeps....I have to tell you how proud I am of my Martina!!!! When I picked her up from pre-school yesterday, one of her teachers pulled me aside and said that someone had made fun of a new girl and made her cry. Martina saw her Crying, and went up to her and said "I'm sorry she hurt your feelings. That wasn't nice to make you cry. I'll be your friend. Come play with me." She took her hand and took her over to play dress up with her. At age 4!!!! I am so proud of her! Yes, I'd like my kids to be smart and successful, but if they are good, caring people, I couldn't be more proud!

Ok my day today...

I got up at 6:45am and heard my phone ringing.. I answered it to my mom freaking out.. My nephew quit breathing.. (the one that was premature and had to have the surgery in february) I guess he had such a high fever that it caused him to quit breathing.. They did CPR and got him to breath again. Rushed him to the hospital and they gave him steroids to help him. He is fine now but it was a really looooooooooong stressful day.. He has a really bad cold and it was too much for him to handle. I'm still stressed out about it. Poor baby...


On top of all that we had our normal school and mike's friend came over and layed our bathroom floor for us.. It looks so nice..

No on to the funny part of my day:

I was getting Emily from school (3year old preschool) and I was putting a scarf on a little boy and I said your scarf is so cool did mom get you this scarf and the boy said yes she did and she got me these gloves too! I said that is so cool You have a really cool mom.. He said to me "No she's fat" I had all I could do not to bust out laughing in this kids face. Danielle I thought of you right away.. Oh and I will be waiting to see what you get this year for Christmas. You always get the bestest gifts..

Poor nephew - glad he's doing better.
