DisUnc- 16 yrs this year! Who knew he had it in him?!?!? I'm telling you it must have been some mouse magic!

Dwheatl-- I do remember you. I remember my middle child most resembled your Stinkerbelle. Well she lived up to her reputation, she actually knocked the younger one over racing to get to a ride. See now I'm the jealous one-- . I bought a little Disney bank at the AK park & I have been putting change in it everyday. We're not expecting to go back until next Summer, but I'm working hard to see if I can squeeze a trip in in November. Enjoy yourself!

I'm so glad I started reading this thread. You all are hilarious.

I just made my first trip to WDW last month. Sadly I did not know about the lime Mickey's. I did however have my husband run to Home Depot right away to pick up as many paint chips that he could. Told him to make sure he wasn't caught (I did have to give him a little explanation as to why I needed them). He even called me on the way to make sure he'd get the right color.

He came home & handed me 3 Sonic Boom MPCs and told me that was all they had. Then he said just kidding & handed me 28 Alien Green Mickeys. Pretty sneaky of him because I didn't even mention the Sonic Boom's as a back up choice.

Sadly we won't be returning to WDW til atleast June 2007, but on the bright side I'll be well prepared.

Remember ds's have no idea what their moronic parents are up to which kind of makes it even funnier because they just look at me with this glazed look in their eyes. (Maybe that is the testosterone also).

This made me laugh so hard. BOY, do I know that testosterone look. And yes, it can be confused with so many other looks they might have, who knows what the male species is ever really thinking!

I've paid for 3 sets of braces (boo-hoo!) got lots of airline miles though. Youngest has just the tops on, bottoms later this month. Had to give up his Skittle addiction...along w/hard pretzels, gum, corn on cob... oh...I'm probably making this worse. Little darling got lime green bands last time they changed them...think he was buttering me up before last DIS trip. It worked, he came home w/a ton of new pins. Wonder how he knew? Must have been that "secret" drawer full of purlioned HD mickey heads.

I never even thought about using the credit card for paying for my DS's braces. I could use airline miles, too!!! Might have to reconsider that automatic debit thing we have going. That's not getting me to WDW any faster!

My DS refuses to do lime green bands. What a punk. I'm hoping I can convince him when he goes in for a re-banding next week, but I'm guessing he's going to stay with red. Spoilsport - he takes after his dad!

keishashadow, my DH told me yesterday he's going to buy ME a lanyard so I can wear all his good CM special event pins. Since my DD can't trade them, it doesn't make any sense for her to wear them, so now I am the one designated to show off his "insider status"! He just got a new one for the POC premiere and also for this year's July 4th. We also have an awesome one from when he worked the actual 50th (July 17th, 2005). We have some really cool pins and are looking forward to expanding our collection at WDW. I was excited to get a certificate for a free pin with our DME tags!
