A few years ago, I started buying soy wax chips from the craft store and perfume/candle oils from eBay and now I make my own "tarts" (though I don't mold them - I just toss some soy wax chips into the melter, add some scented oil, light the tea light, and...instant boy stink

I never even thought about using the credit card for paying for my DS's braces. I could use airline miles, too!!! Might have to reconsider that automatic debit thing we have going. That's not getting me to WDW any faster!

My DS refuses to do lime green bands. What a punk. I'm hoping I can convince him when he goes in for a re-banding next week, but I'm guessing he's going to stay with red. Spoilsport - he takes after his dad!

keishashadow, my DH told me yesterday he's going to buy ME a lanyard so I can wear all his good CM special event pins. Since my DD can't trade them, it doesn't make any sense for her to wear them, so now I am the one designated to show off his "insider status"! He just got a new one for the POC premiere and also for this year's July 4th. We also have an awesome one from when he worked the actual 50th (July 17th, 2005). We have some really cool pins and are looking forward to expanding our collection at WDW. I was excited to get a certificate for a free pin with our DME tags!

OMG, you are so lucky to have such coooool pins. I've switched over to the locking pin backs...managed to lose quite a few favorites.

DS has this pin holder (sort of looks like a fanny pack - but I'd never dare call it that LOL) that has folding, removable sheets to show pins for trade. He's organized, I'm not.

I'm a big eBay fan for trade bait or even www.disneyshopping.com when they have their semi-annual pin sale, combined w/codes - good deal.

With all the talk of SS and with so many of you being yankees and all, can anyone give me the 411 on Hershey? I've wantd to go for awhile but can one build a weeks vaction around it and seeing the surrounds? Does it compare to say "kinds Dominion" ? (anyone been there? Near Richmond....)

Kings Dominion ROCKS!! IMHO much better than Busch Gardens. And for me, it is farther away than Busch. I used to go almost every summer with the 2 older boys, and have been once, last year with the younger 2. It rained for 2.5 hours, but we waited it out and rode Volcano non-stop with a 1 ride wait, in the dark. Talk about cool!!!

I know, no comparrison to Disney, but when you haven't been in 18+ years to disney, it is like brand new to me. So excited with less than 50 days to go!! :bounce:
