Hi Piglets Mommy and Mary if your still on!

This sounds like such a good time. Glad you are feeling better.

Yes that would be my coffee cup as well. I would never drink my wine out of stirefoam(sp?) ;)

Hi!!!
Hope your day is going well!

Ok this DUCKIE is looking for suggestions for dealing with upset tummy. Most of the last week has been spent moaning on the couch trying to sleep the "uggy" feeling away. John & I are thinking it might be milk but not sure yet.

Only thing that seems to work is Ginger Ale but the calories are killing the diet. I can't tolerate the diet stuff, makes me feel worse. ... HUHM maybe some cheese to go with this constant whining eh?

I hope everyone managed to get over the dread of returning to work and is beginning to settle into your "normal" routine. Mine is boring -- can't even get close enough to puter for more than 30 minutes at a time, so come on peeps make my day brighter and fill me in on all that YOU are doing! :thumbsup2

Try some mint...either mint in tea or just a peppermint (I lived on Altoids when I was pregnant) Also, plain Perrier worked pretty well too.

Hope you're feeling better soon! We miss you!

Things are good here, although work has been pretty boring lately. Hopefully things pick up a bit soon.

Chris had practice for his school musical last night. The second greders are dancing to Walkin on Sunshine.
He loves his sports, but it's good to see him interested in something else for a change.

That would be my iced tea cup & it would be sweet tea...of course!

Mmmmm.....Sweet tea.....add a little of that mint I suggested to Jacqueline and sip away.....:cloud9: Now if Only I could sip that sweet tea with a sprig of mint in a Hammock in WDW.....:rolleyes1

Somebody pinch me and bring me back to reality, please.

Hi!!!
Hope your day is going well!

My day is going well now. Brought DH to hospital today for a surgery on his left eye. All went well!

We are home now and I pick the kids up from the bus in an hour.

Hi Kat and Jaqueline.

Kat...I hate sugar in my ice tea or coffee for that matter. I remember driving up from FLorida once and ordering ice tea at rest stops and in the south it always seems to come sweetened. Up here, most people have to add there sugar after ordering if they want it!

Jaqueline, sounds like you have a bad bug. I hope you get over the yucky feeling soon!

Not sooo scarey.....I am trying to think if you were on last year around this time. He had many scarey operations last year in a months span. Three were for his eye, but this helped his vision quite drastically. He went from not being able to see out of his left eye to having better vision than his right eye. He will still will have to wear glasses, but at least his left lens won't look an inch thick. lol:goodvibes

Hey but just think what it is doing to my post count:thumbsup2

Yeah, I had to stop and get some on the way back form the dentist. And the good news...

the tooth is ok for now. They could do a patch job, as I lost the front part of a molar right before New years, but thankfully it can wait. Without insurance the amount is like 1500 for the crown and other work they need to do. To scary for now!

Sorry work is boring. you can come do some of mine!

Southerners moan that the sugar don't melt in northerners cold tea and they hate having a clump of sugar at the bottom of the glass!

I was here last year and remember all the trips you had for the not good surgeries! I am glad he can see much better now. My parents did the lasik. My dad hardly has to wear glases, except to read.

Yeah!! on the "new" language and on the "original" (:sad2:) way to boost your count. As you can see, I am learning to multi quote finally!

See, I am with you southerners. I was always taught that one teapot of water took 5-6 tea bags and 1 cup of sugar as soon as it bowled, let that steep for 15 minutes or so, then you can drink it. :thumbsup2 And my mother, who was raised in Iowa, when she first started visiting my dad's family in Nashville, TN, got so many glasses of sweet tea, which would of course gross her out. Now the family makes a separate pitcher of unsweet for my mother, and we all make sure it is a different color so we don't drink her yucky tea by mistake!

Wonder if I can convince Brian to get me a cool Disney Teapot?:flower3:
