It went very well. I was going to take her to the movies, but #1 she worked on Saturday and was really tired #2 the only good movie out was Shooter (not really a date movie). So, instead we went to a popsicle/fruit shop and had fruit cups. We sat and chatted for about 2 hours. I think I'm still used to going out and going to clubs, but she really isn't into that. I figure that's a good think cause I don't do that as much anymore. We already decided to go see Music and Lyrics next week. This week I think I'll ask her out for lunch. Whatdya all think?

Hi Jacqueline-- I've been having a hard time getting up lately before 6 a.m.-- I'm at the point I just want to sleep in in the mornings. Not good for someone who likes to get into work do my time and get out early.

So, when taking a girl on a date, NO to the club thing or even the atmosphere. There is no way the two of you can talk, and what not. Instead what you'll create is a relationship based more on clubs and bars and having a good time at those places, instead of creating a relationship around the two of you. So, taking her to dinner, and the movies etc, will create that relationship that is more positive. If the two of you can have a good time TOGETHER at other places than a bar or club then you are on the right track my friend. Good Luck to ya!
I think those dates when you get to sit and talk and get to know each other is much better than the clubs. It is hard to get to know someone over the loud music. I swear I think I'm loosing it, especially with everything that really NEEDS to be done. That I can't even get remotely close to doing. My house looks like i haven't cleaned in days, when in fact I clean EVERYDAY, and every room to boot. I really need a day away, but then that will only bring more cleaning since DH just lets them run through the house with food and toys (dishes are left UNDER the coffee table on the nights I go out, and the glasses and whatever else is everywhere. Chips are always found crunched into the carpet throughout the house) and he does as well, and they leave it all for me to clean up when I get home. So maybe I just need all of them to leave for a few days.
