Hi Limey's

I can now play with out my conscience or hubby on me. I got our taxes finished last night.

I made a big decision this weekend and took care of it yesterday. I was supposed to have a job interview this morning with the city's police dept. Well after long consideration and talking with dh we decided it would be best if maybe I didn't go back to work full time. Some of the reasons have to do with us trying to get pg the others due to my BP and one big one of the two combined. So I called the captian I was to have the interview with and canceled it. He was greatfull that I called (some people would just not show up) and told me if I ever changed my mind to give him a call.

So now I can continue to play with ya'll to my hearts content and still work as a temp at the law firm when ever they need me. Not to mention my sis doesn't have to look for a babysitter ;)

Good for you. I am glad you were able to talk it out and come to a decision that was good for both of you and the family to be.

Hubby is, in my opinion of course, severly bi-polar. He says he is going to get another job, as soon as he gets back to the one he has now. He is at UPS PT. That is all they do. He says he wants me to slow down and be home more. I am not holding my breath, cause I know how BP and to much stress can whack him out. Andhow hard it was to find a 2nd job before with his size and weight considerations.

So it is good for you to take things slow and see what can and can't be done. And who knows, you jewelry making may end up being a good paying work from home job!

I would wait for the round trip tickets. Unless you try on Sprirt now, and get a deal on a one way back. They are running specials that you can check on.

As for the driving, yes, I'm driving, but not volunteering my car. :rotfl:

No Spirit in Virginia yet. so no luck on that one. And yeah, he drives well, you just have to rememeber to reset your seats back so you are't crammed into the dashboard/steering wheel. He is a short dude! Not sure i would let him drive someone else's car either, though he is of legal age!

Howdy Gang -- VA good to see you updated your plans on the Aug thread! and that you won't be munching on Ronnie at dinner!

P89 - Nice family shot (and loved the T your son got!)

Kat - wait on the tickets (I am waiting too) and far as Chip well I say let him come but maybe make arrangements for him to only stay part of the time that way he won't miss his GF too much or run up a huge IM bill - did you check into getting an IM package with your provider??

SBD - Good for making a decision - Oh a baby how fun - have fun practicing!

T, Rer, SMB, Kelly, Jamie, Jacqueline -- :grouphug: :flower3: Hi my friends!

Silly thing is that he wants to go and stay on site, doing th eparks and all with the kids. I just think it will be to long away from the gf. Course he could pay to fly himself back if he wanted. He said he really wants to go and has been saving a tiny bit. She goes back to college the weekend right before I plan to leave, so it may be ok. Or he could fly down early the next week. sigh!

My other option it to rent a car and follow Mary down. That might work out to, cause then he would have a car to go offsite and track down a place to chat most of the night with her. Just another thought.

And ya, I know I would have more than enough help. Cause you guys are wonderful and anyway, I did it most of the time on my own anyway. He just rolled after us, though he did give the kids an occasional ride! And if free dining arrives again, I can see him going just for the food! Wonder if I can do that. Room and food, no parks? hee hee. (much rather leave him here and have fun with ya'll! And no, things are stil the same. I have made NO changes.)
:sad2: :sad2: :sad2: You need to get some :laundy: in you and go to town.. :teeth:
Sporting a shiny new sig! Just had to announce it :rotfl:

Nice picture now what did you do with the family I know? :teeth:

Ok I have a question. Even if I am not sure we are going to Disney yet, should I get 1 way tickets from southwest now, since they aren't selling to my leave there date yet, or just wait and hope things are better as we go along?

And chip says now he will go if I buy his ticket, but I think 2-3 weekends without the gf is not going over well! He figured he would jsut IM her, until I told him what it costs a day there.:sad2:

then he asked if anyone was driving and would let him borrow their car to go off site & find a wireless feed. Volunteers?

OH finally a question I consider myself to be an expert on!!

I loved the service i recieved from SOUTHWEST.

I bought the flight SOUTHBOUND as soon as they became available. Within 2 days the rate had dropped about $40 per ticket and I was able to change the price and had a credit ready to be used for return flight. This happened 2 more times and I was thrilled. I NEVER had to pick up the phone (great since i hate using it)

The date for our return was long time coming out but i held my breath and waited. When it did come out it was very high so I waited a few more days and it dropped again. I then applied my credit sitting on my account and was thrilled to recieve FOUR RETURN tickets for just over $400.00

Long & short : book one way and hold out.
If you can't go they will flip it into a credit for a year less a day ticket.
Confused yet? P.M me

Ok, so I have to post this...we all know that I have been having problems with DS and getting up and on time for school. Well, his teacher bought him a shirt, and he brought it home today. It reads:

I was Late for school today because:
I went to another school accidentally
I spent all morning looking for the best tasting APPLE for you
I had to stop my dog from eating my homework.
I got real involved in a poem I was writing about this mornings sunrise
I helped the principal's sick mother cross the street
I was raising money all morning for the "Teacher's Need Love Too Foundation"
I tried to leave in time, but my videogames wouldn't let me.
I forgot to wake up this morning.
I was having a really good dream about me knowing everything.
I went to see the doctor this morning, but I forgot what I was there for.
I spent too much time teaching my little brother the, uh-alpahbet.
I had to rescue an whole family from a burning building.
I have a sister with no Brains, so I had to help her with the simple things, like breathing.
I found out I was adopted, and I'm having a lot of trouble dealing with that right now.
I was busy fighting crime with my super-hero powers.
I couldn't afford to buy gas. My bike has a flat tire. And I was too lazy to walk.
I was getting extra credit in, uh- skate boarding class.
I spent half the mroning saying great things about you to the Teacher's Hall of Fame.
I partied till I saw the surise.
I was busy breaking up with my girlfriend this morning.
I decided that life is too short to rush to school every morning.

Oh, and one more thing...
I'm not late! I'm early for TOMORROW!!!

Oh my this would have been perfect for me! I love those comments and I can see my son using most of those. Do you know he managed to get the chance to re-write a college EXAM because he SLEPT IN! guess he has his mom's charm & wit :lmao:

I'm just doing a flyby posting.

Have a great evening all!!

Off to work I go.

P89 great siggie pic by the way

That's cool that you're going there. I was gonna see about switching, but again I'm not 100% sure we're even going. Also I can't guarantee that my personal peeps are gonna be pleasant after traveling all day. Maybe we can hook up later though! :cool1:

Just so you know we rented a car years ago in CA, but everyone had to be 25 to drive. Just something to think about. No offense, but I don't let anyone else drive my van-- don't even like dh to do it! :lmao:
