We are ever lazier than this though! We take frozen meatballs (laziest way ever here -- bought ones ) drop them in the pot with 'sketti as it is finishing. Them we drain it ... empty the sauce in, mix it and plunk back on burner till the sauce is heated thru. Told you it was lazy!

Sunday and Monday are my days to cook since I'm off. I like trying new stuff out, so I chose the meatballs this time. A few weeks ago, I made something called a chicken spaghetti bake. That one was easy too. Just breaded chicken breast filets on top of spaghetti covered with sauce and parmesian cheese. DW asked me to make it again.

Cool those are the recipes I like not a lot of ingredients, not a lot of steps, and someone else cooking!

I would like healthy halloween inspired snacks, but they love the sinful stuff too

This is the time of year that I make "Witches fingers cookies"
Take your fave cookie recipe (WHITE kind like a sugar or shortbread like one), shape it into a sorta long finger and squish the end where a finger nail would go. Use a toothpick to mark lines for knuckles. When you take outta oven you can paint the nails red w/food colouring. (or if you know there will be no food allergies push an almond into the nailbed B4 baking)

REAL bears eat ANYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (well almost....not porridge....you know, that whole urban ledgend thing....porridge is yucky!!!) We especially like Mr. Oakies meatballs!!!!!!!! (Is that gonna get me introuble?! )

Mine are sleeping already....ahhhhh.....well, except the older one is still sick, but I think he's on the upswing.

I am glad to hear it. My dd10 was home sick today. I'm hoping she wakes up well and ready to go tomorrow.

Anyone got good ideas for snacks I can make for DW to take to work on Halloween for her co-workers?

I make these for such type occasions because they're so easy & can go with any holiday.

You need pretzel wheels (work best or use small pretzels), the hershey kisses called hugs (or regular ones), and plain m & m's . M&M's currently are black & orange for the season with pumpkin faces on them.

Heat oven up to say 350 degrees. You spread the pretzels out flat on a baking sheet, put a hug/kiss on each pretzel centered, place in the preheated oven for about 3-5 mins. Then you take out of the oven before it really has a chance to melt. Then you take an m&m and place it on each hug/kiss & when you do you push the chocolate down onto the pretzel, but not hard enough to push it out the other side. You can either stick them in the fridge or freezer to set it, but it never gets hard. Waa-laa, chocolate covered pretzels. You can change the look every season. Easy to make & you can make a lot.

I don't know if you remember, but a bazillion posts ago I said if the Tigers were in the World Series and beat the Yankees, I would route for the Tigers for you. So I am doing just that. My daughter, Tot_princess, is telling everyone, I am doing it for the Cross Family. Every one kinds looks at her like ...Who are they

Ouchy! but let's put this together w/other subject shall we?

Last summer I fell down stairs (ok Tilly tripped me) and I broke my ankle and a few toes. I couldn't get back up to where John was (outside @ a group BBQ) I told her .. GO GET DADDY! She went to back door whined, scratched and then for the 1st time since we have had her in 7 years she BARKED Up until that point she never barks just "talks" lots of whines and whimpers etc. When he finally came in (rotten hubby 'bout 15 minutes later) she made him go right to me (not hard she is Border collie and they herd anything in their path) I love my puppy

Yikes, but what a cool dog!
