Sunday and Monday are my days to cook since I'm off. I like trying new stuff out, so I chose the meatballs this time. A few weeks ago, I made something called a chicken spaghetti bake. That one was easy too. Just breaded chicken breast filets on top of spaghetti covered with sauce and parmesian cheese. DW asked me to make it again.

My Dad used to make that for us when I was little! YUM!

I guess I was asking for that. But I think I've known for quite awhile. DW has been saying that since before we got married. :lmao: :lmao:

They're easy peasy to make. Just mix up a pound of ground beef, 1/2 cup of bread crums, 1 egg, and 1 tablespoon italian seasoning. Then shape the mix into 12 meatballs. You also need 12 (1/2 inch) cubes of mozzarella cheese. Just press each cube into a meatball and enclose it.

Also need your favorite sauce here... bring your sauce to boil, and drop in the meatballs. drop the heat to low and simmer the meatballs for 20 minutes. Its best to put the cover over the top, or you'll make my mistake, and cover the stovetop and counter with bubbling sauce :lmao: Then pour over your spaghetti and serve.
I'm going to try these....sound good. I will let my dog try them and then afterwards ask her how she liked them?.......sorry just teasing (about the dog part) I really want to try the meatballs...thanks for sharing.

Oh man, that sounds dee-lish. So, the putting them in the hot sauce (does Ragu count??) for 20 minutes cooks them all the way through?(OR are they supposed to be already cooked at this point?) See why I'm not much of a cook?? But, I LOVE getting recipes for yummy stuff isn't not too hard!

This is makign me hungry - all I've had for dinner at this point is small piece of leftover quiche....not too filling.

Of course you're not Looney! I talk to my dog like he's a human too and I'm certainly not Looney! ;) :rolleyes1

You're only Looney if you think you're dog is talking back to you in human talk....you know like Barbara Walters.

The best thing about talking to my dog is that he's the only one around here who doesn't talk back and he never disagrees with me! :teeth:

you drop the raw meatballs in the boiling sauce. Cooking them for 20 minutes in the sauce should cook them all the way through. Ours came out almost perfect. A little of the cheese escaped while they were cooking. Just makes the sauce taste better :)
