I know what you mean about the kids thinking of your DH as the nice one. My Dd thinks of her daddy as the easy, nice one since I am the one who has to discipline her the most. She still loves me but she knows who to go to when she wants something. Even worse she will go to my dad. She has him totally wrapped

That is the norm here but with Grades I am more strict. So this year when DD13 started to struggle I turned into the mean one. I think I hear my ex laughing

Ok......now I can be added to the list of jealous limeys.....I just had to cancel my plans for the VA meet.....
With all the work I missed this week and the meds..... We just can't afford it right now.
Now I just have to tell my kids.....

When I moved to Louisiana, I had to learn all over again. Soda, pop.... they're all called... COLD DRINKs. People will ask you a blanket question like... Would you like a cold drink?

Here in Houston we say "coke" people will come and visit and ask for a coke and the waitress will say what kind. The out of towners get a funny look on their face and say coke a cola. I snicker and order tea

Hi everyone. Went to the dr today and was given yet another pill to add to the mix. This one is for the bipolar where as the other two are anti depressants. One of the AD's is for day time to help me get energy and make it through the day, the other is to help me sleep better at night. Now I will be starting on this third one that is for the BP to keep me from having any more ups or downs. I am slowly catching up to Jacqueline in my daily alotment of pills.

I don't think anyone can catch up with hubby. Besides BP (4-5)pills he is taking stuff for his heart, colesteral, gout (2), blood thinner, insulin -shots & at least 1 pill... I swear the man is a walking medicine cabinet! Jeff takes 2 for his and then melotinin to sleep at night, Krista takes 1 and I take one. Plus my vitimins cause I have to be able to function when I am not eating right.

Hmmm I can fix things too, and pour the beer. Hmm this is gonna be a hard one, lets see I can do everything I mention EXCEPT iron and sew plus what you listed there. So if I have me why do I need you?

I am . I just talked to Fedex Smartpost who was the shipper of my Dh's new luggage from Disney and they confirmed that it was accepted by the USPS on Friday the 13th at 12:01pm. The Post master yesterday claimed they never got it so after the mail comes today I will be going and having a talk with the post office again if it isn't in todays delivery. I even have proof from the USPS web site that it was accepted last friday so it should have been delivered no later than Saturday.

Hello all, long time no talk to. Sorry I have not been on much, been busy with work and my son. For those of you that may have missed it, I am working at World of Disney in Downtown Disney and I work monday, wens, and thursdays. I love it there. I should be getting on a little more as I am completely settled in my apartment. Well I shall Talk to all of you later, gotta go shopping.

My dd showed me that when she was in the 6th grade and it has been a silly thing ever since. Every now and then one of will just start in with Badgerbadgerbadger

I watched that episode today too, and thought of Cyn her DD's flat stanley.

Flat Stanley is at my house!!!!! We are taking him to the state capital tomorrow and having a cookout and pumpkin carving party for him Sunday - maybe I can get his pic with one of our pumpkins and post it (if someone teaches me how to use photobucket...)
