Hey!!!! Something we dont have to fight about - I Love love love rainstorms - or even just rain period!

Did everyone have a good weekend?! Ours was busy but fun. School fair (7yo DS sang!) and The National Folk Festival was in town!!! woo hoo!!! Mr. Oakie, we listened to a group from your area....they were so great I felt genuinely sad when they were done. I said to one of my sisters "if I lived in New Orleans, I'd always be in a good mood - between the music and the food!"

Just got back from trying to donate blood, and a side trip to Walmart. They wouldn't take my blood this morning because my iron count was too low. I guess it's still low from 2 weeks ago when they took blood. Went ahead though and made a new appointment for a couple weeks from now.

Don't you have to wait atleast 55 days between donations? I think that's the right number.

Laptops are da bomb! I love mine! We got a gps program for on it and take it everywhere with us. You may want to look into one! I bought the microsoft! Then you won't have to leave as early for appts. Save Kim some trouble!!

Some of the guys I work with give me a hard time because I donate blood, but I always tell them that some day you'll need it and if people like us don't donate, they'd be up the creek.

I haven't been able to donate for a while. A couple of times I've gone & they wouldn't take it because I was too sick and then several times my irons also been too low. Dh does it too.

I've given alot - sometimes my iron dips for no appearant reason - I eat a LOt of meat!!! (.....ok, I cant even write that with a straight face....no commments needed 'casue as pres. of the FMC i 've already covered it in my own mind!!)

Last time I gave I remet an old co-worker....he's now my boss - good Omen!
