Maybe you could come to my house while we watch football on Sunday!

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: Right!!! :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Being one of three daughters myself I cant imagine your household sitting around watching football - my dad would have passed out if anyone of us sat down within 100 yards (look, football term!) of the tv on Football days. Now having a house full of men you'd think I'd learn....... But NOOoooooo!!! (That's ok....gives me some mom time that tend not to get too much of, while they are awake.)

Alot of celebs own country homes in our area. I've done a few real estate closings with them. Generally very nice people!

Also somehow seem to meet a few famous political folks...Hilary, GOvernor Pataki, Geraldine Ferraro (remember her, she ran for Vice President) borrowed my conference room omce!

the curent Govna of Va used to be my neighbor......he's a real regular guy. :thumbsup2

Got to love a "tight end". :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

Not too much Celeb activity in this area other than a couple of ex pro players. When I worked for US Air at LAX tons of meets. I worked in the club there for a while it was almost a daily part of the job. Some of them were such normal folks and would just sit and wait at the gate and talk to people and most people just left them be but OTHERS were total PIA

Ok who out there complained that it was too hot this summer?? :sunny: :sunny: Uhm it isn't no more up here.

This am it is -6 of our degrees (about 22 of yours!) Gawd I was freezing in the night since we still had the regular sheets on the bed and I was still wearing my summer Donald t-shirt nighty. I reached down & tried to find comforter and it was just not long enuff (caught up in someone else's feet :rotfl2: ) so I curled up tight enuff that I woke in tears by 4 cause my knees and shoulders ached.

OH and we had a snow storm as well. Don't get me wrong I love snow and since I live in southern Ontario I know it will come, but half way thru OCTOBER?? usually holds off till close to our B-Days My poor flowers look dead.

It was 31 Farenheit at my house this morning. I still have my bedroom windows open and will til at least our Thanksgiving. I love the cold!!

We had a foot of snow here one October 4 about 20 years ago. It was beautiful, but a disaster. All the leaves were still on the trees and the limbs couldn't handle the extra weight so lots of trees came down. Trucks didn't have plows attached yet so clearing streets took a few days.

I heard lots of power lines came down in Buffalo yesterday due to that storm.

Hey everyone :wave2:

I got a question for y'all. Does anyone in their day to day work ever come across celebrities? Local celebs or national celebs?
I actually have surprisingly met quite a few.
I've met: Mookie Wilson (he came to our house a few times too, my mom would run into him grocery shopping invited him to dinner a few times), Darrell Strawberry (I remember our conversation, about NOT doing drugs :rotfl:), Keith Hernandez. I think that takes care of baseball
Bowling: Mark Roth and Parker Bohn III.
Musicians: Bon Jovi, Bruce Springsteen (I can spit to his stomping grounds, so no surprise there, and no I don't listen to his music)
Political: Nancy and Ronald Reagan :worship: I love Reagan. A little background on that one. I was wayyy too young to vote, and I convinced my parents to vote for him, I pleaded my case, because I couldn't actually pull the lever myself. Well they did, and he won!! So as an Irish Dancer, we have a big (or at least used to be) competition (called a feis) and it was in D.C. The location was on the White House lawn. So my parents wrote the White House, and explained this whole fiasco of my infatuation with Ronald Reagan. After competition, my mother forced me to hang around, and I did. Well out comes this helicopter, and it lands, this is not uncommon it happened every year. Well this time out came the Reagans. No, not to meet me but to make an appearance. I was in awe. I got to chit chat with him. Can you see a 9 year old talking to Reagan about his trickle down economic theory? Well that was me, and our conversation.
Adding to this category Doug Forrester, we shared a beer on campus. Interviewed him for a paper I was writing, he had already just made an appearance at the University.

I think that about covers it.

Working all night + lots of mountain dew to stay awake= bigger kelly...... stinks, doesn't it..

Ok this sounds like me, though I am trying to slow down on the caffine & sugar. So I have coffee & hot chocolate together... at least it is less sugar and in the morning. Not sure that that helps.

Mine is working 5 am - 7 pm 2 days a week and still hitting 56- 60 a week and sugary snacks make a hippier kathy, and not the fit in size 8 hips either!

So how's your head feeling these days--stiches all gone? Haven't seen you around too much. Can't wait til Richmond!

Staples have been out for a week & 1/2. Doing fine there. been real busy at work so reading but not posting much. Don't have a cpu at home so having problems getting on over the weekends and getting far behind! And I am one of those that feels they have to read every page or I'll miss something.

Been working my back end off to pay the bills and make it to Richmond. 2 more late night lock-ins this month, guarding from 11pm 1 am will really help. Not got much time to get my room reserved! Real tired though at times!
