This may not count, but my dad and I used to play "NFL talking Monday Night Football" It was great, there were little records with offensive plays on one side . You would put it in the little "record player" thing and give it to the defense person so he could pick his defense. push down the record and it would give you a play by play description of the play. I can still here " prevent defense, 3 man rush.....incomplete" Now I could never tell you which one of us one or lost but we did have fun.

Since Cyn is gone from this thread, I'm getting up on her old soapbox. A few folks are using this thread to post what are really personal messages. The pm function is there for a reason. If you are sharing a personal problem with someone who is familiar with the details, why not pm them? What made this thread attractive in the first place was the light, silly, Dis-loving, LGMHPC swiping tone of the conversation on here. Can we get back to that?

What do they charge you for an hour. Ours is $200.

Our ice is $105/hr. Cheapest ice in Colorado and our rink looks it. We finally located a goalie so now we can schedule some scrimmages. Looks like we'll have one in a week. You guys play in a house league don't you? How many games will you have over the season?

I'm guessing you made the good team? We go throught that too. I rufuse to play travel.. Our travel team out of our area goes to other states at least 3 times a month. I could never afford that.
My son made the "good" team this year. He played for them in the spring and they must of liked him to keep him because he isn't the best. He doesn't suck but its not his strong sport!!

Wow even our worst rink in the area is still almost 200 an hour. How is the goalie? Not sure. The manager is suppose to email me the entire schedule for the season. she just gave us our october schedule. I told her I was doing DL in Jan and needed to make plans so I needed the whole thing. LOL
