Cody is doing well. We got a quick reminder last week about the way life was in July. He got a cold and it really knocked him out and fast but fortunately not for very long but very different from our typical boy. Ikwym about the cb. I have gotten sucked in a time or two and am really surprised with what I read. I think those threads show that there are alot of people who go to wdw who really don't like children or being around children and that always is such an oxymoron for me. Go figure.

Wow, does that mean that his immune system ain't what it used to be, or that when he gets something common like a cold it will effect him more seriously? I hope this will get better with time. I used to like bunnies, but now I'm not so sure..Wascaly Wabbits...

ITA with you about the people who go to WDW and are totally surprised that it is filled with kids. And OMG, some of those kids get cranky and antsy and impatient and tired. I have seen more adults acting badly at WDW than children.... :rotfl: and I guess I should be careful about what I say, after all we aren't in our own little world here, are we?

Even though we feel like he's back to normal the docs have told us that it could take 2-3 months for him to be 100% and we do still see some of that at night. He crashes early and hard sometimes. So hopefully he'll have no long term effects after a few months go by.

Hey I am in my own little world now, you should know that by now HRH!!!!

Kids don't get cranky at Disney only Adults do. I have to agree with you about the cranky adults. I saw lots of them. So what hotel did you finally decide on?

Hmmm, SB's mom there wouldn't happen to be any cute girls working with him? I don't remember accidently getting up early for anything but that when I was his age.

Hmmm, could be the case, but I don't think the store even opened up that early! I won't say he has a big head, but he says all the girls know him!

You've gotta be kidding me. I brought home about 20 soaps and 6 or 7 shampoos from my trip. That's a heck of a lot of money for Ivory soap wrapped in Mickey paper. On the other hand, how Ivory soap reminds me of happy times. :) But, yeah, shipping to Canada is no laughing matter. I've had to ship things to a friend a few times and it's been really expensive. Consider yourself lucky, though. I mailed a 1 lb 2 oz package to the Netherlands for my grandma today and Global Express Mail was $30.50 US!!!!

Oh I'm sure LizzY or Jessie can help you out with that prob... LOL
Yeah. :lmao: THEY would probably think he's cute and funny (his really cute semi-gf seems to think he is). I guess you have to be his mother to think he's also really annoying. :rotfl:

I have a surfboard, and would probably pay money to watch you two try to learn. :lmao: Ahem. I mean, sure. That'd be fun, huh?

Hey, limeys. I have a project for anyone who’s going to the mutherland or any other fun adventures soon and is willing to have a little bit of fun helping out my DD7. Her class is doing a Flat Stanley project (if you don’t know about Flat Stanley, you can find out more here http://flatstanley.enoreo.on.ca/ or google him or do a DIS search on “Flat Stanley” as others here have taken him on trips before). Basically, what would happen is that we would mail DD’s Flat Stanley to you and you would take him along on your adventures, log short diary entries of what he did and what adventures he had, and hopefully also get pictures of him at various sites/landmarks (with or without you). Then you would mail him back so she could share his adventures with her class. It’s kind of fun. I have seen a number of different projects similar to this. For instance, this little restaurant in downtown San Diego called The Cheese Shop has a Frisbee with its logo on it and people take it all over getting pictures of it at various sites around the USA/world and then they put the pics up on the restaurant walls. I even saw a thread here once in which a poster shared pics that her co-workers had from their collective trips with one of those Arby’s Oven mitts (see Oven Mitt: http://www.ihateovenmitt.com/). Anyway, if anyone would be interested in this, PM me. DD would need to have Stanley and the diary/photos back by the end of October at the latest. (Digital photos would be fine, as they could be emailed and we could easily have them printed rather than putting someone else to the trouble.) If we don’t find someone who will be doing something exciting to take him, we’ll have to send him to a less-than-exciting relative. LOL Poor Stanley. If he has to go to rural Kansas, he’s going to be really bored! Man, I sure wish I’d known about this when Teresa went on her 28-day vacation. That would have been awesome – think of the adventures Stanley could have had on that trip!

Michele, Sorry to hear Cody got sick. Hope he's feeling better soon! Do you give him vitamins, maybe that will help get him over the hump! I'm sure WDW will really pump him up!
