Absolutly none! We were walking around before the game and he just said "Let's get mom a LG Mets Hat."

Yes, they added him automatically on his birthday and we just got the bill last week! OMG. Actually, it wasn't as much as ours together, but it was a hunk o money. I expect it to go down a bit, though, once he finds his last report card so I can send a copy. Straight As make a nice impression on the insurance company, don'tcha know. This, btw, is excellent bribery for him to keep his grades up. I've told him I don't want him to get a job this year if he can help it. His job is to continue to get good grades and I will pay his insurance and give him $20 a week for gas. Next summer, he will be able to get a job at the regional park right next to our house and should be able to keep that job on weekends only when school starts again. His best friend got a job at the grocery store a few months ago and is really struggling with grades and keeping a social life. My DS has learned from observation that this is not the way to go if it can be helped.

I plan to get a job in November at the ice cream place. The owner has been bugging me about it since I was 13. "Hey how old are you? when are you gonna come work for me?" "I'm still 14 Jerry." "oh well when you turn 15, come see me!"

I am getting really really mad. All I want is a WDW 2007 calender. And I look on Ebay.com well, what do you know they have it but to ship to Canada is double the price!

Yeah major bummer eh? Sorta like we are being punished for living north of the border. It's not like we have some disease! I look at stuff available and sigh, then just remember that I really do love being Canadian

You be sure to come here and see us more and stop getting sucked into the CB. lol I never even look at the other CB threads. I have my Subscribed Threads page bookmarked and those are the only threads I ever even see unless I have to actually search for something.

We miss you! And for heaven's sake, don't get sucked into the debate threads!! That IS truly horrible!

What is truly horrible is that I can't ....stop.....looking....thinking....participating....arguing....actually, it wasn't a true debate, just what is considered line jumping or not. I tell ya, there are certainly a lot of righteous people who post on some of these threads..and since I hold a "non-righteous" attitude, I kinda like to stick it out there once in a while....not that I am a or anything like that...

anywho...I think the last time I was seriously on here was while you were gone on your trip...Was WDW all you hoped for? How did it stand up to DL?

Thanks for the advice about bookmarking and staying away from the debates...It just eats up too much energy to get into that..As I heard it said once...."It harshes my mellow.."

Crab boil is a seasoning mix you dump into your boiling water before you drop in the crab... or shrimp, or crawfish, etc. Y'all need to make a trip down to Louisiana for a good old fashioned crawfish boil.

Get the water going, add the crawfish boil... drop in your crawfish, potatoes, and corn on the cob. Y'all don't know what your missing.... YUMMMMMMMY

That's too funny. I'm always on the lookout for anything hockey related. Which you never find much of here and I'm always thinking Man if I only lived in Canada. Maybe we can work something out. I am headed to the mutherland.

Cody is doing well. We got a quick reminder last week about the way life was in July. He got a cold and it really knocked him out and fast but fortunately not for very long but very different from our typical boy. Ikwym about the cb. I have gotten sucked in a time or two and am really surprised with what I read. I think those threads show that there are alot of people who go to wdw who really don't like children or being around children and that always is such an oxymoron for me. Go figure.
