We were really too shell shocked here in this house with what the avs did during the off season to really pay close attention to the other teams trades. I just remember hearing some retired from detroit and thought maybe it was chelios because I'm thinking he's 40ish isn't he.

It will be really sad that this will be the first year for Cody not to get to watch Rob Blake play. He's a defenseman, Cody's a defensemen, he's #4 Cody's #4. We haven't told him yet but we're not sure how we are going to get around not telling him. The year of the strike we just watched all the old av's games on altitude and pretended like they were live and he didn't have to worry about his beloved sport not being around. Cody has probably 50 of his cards from every stage of his career so he really will be sad. Dang Av's.

Don't even get me started about hockey parties. They are the best. Several years ago 4 families went in and bought a bar. The business didn't succeed but man was it alot of fun. Wonder why they didn't make any money?
