I'm doing very well thanks, except I'm totally pooped. Today was the second day of teaching kindergarten, and, as someone warned me, it is like herding kittens. I had a little one crying for mommy, two that don't talk, a whole class of 20 that's still just learning to follow directions.
My DD's former kindergarten teacher told me that after years of teaching 1st and 2nd grade, switching to kindergarten was utterly exhausting. You're teaching most of them how to do school and it takes months to break them in. She did say that things were infinitely better....after the winter break. :rotfl: Hang in there, Danielle. Only four months to go!

By the way, I am so jealous of NSalz. Does anyone else think it's suspicious that she headed out on this trip with her LGMHPCs handy? That sounds pre-meditated, doesn't it? Anyways, I'm very happy for her, and starting to think about when I can reasonably expect to talk DH into a trip to DL.

Let me know when and if you go; maybe I can scoot down there to see you! DH's blue pass is past the summer blockout dates now and we can go anytime we want again. I'm thinking we'll schedule a quick day as soon as the weather cools down. :sunny:

And sorry about your DS's tuition. I'm gonna feel that hurt soon, too.

Just chocolate and strawberry. I just got the ice cream freezer not too long ago. I am going to be making some chocolate tomorrow (have to let the freezing bowl refreeze first). I love chocolate and strawberry combined.
I've got one of those too. I've tried all kinds of types. Some good some :crazy2: . So far I can recommend cookies and cream, bubble gum, rum & hersheys chocolate, pistachio (sp?) almond, and if you mix nestle quick into vanilla you get Wendy's Frosty flavored ice cream. Tried pinapple (a-la dole whips), but I think I got it wrong. Too liquidy

What is worse is that I have had to wait 3 months already for this appointment. Like Donald_My Hero, I am bipolar and have been off my meds for way too long. This appointment was to see a new doctor and get on some new meds. :sad2: My poor Dh is suffering just watching me go through all the mood changes. And I want to be on the meds before going to WDW so that I can handle watching after 2 very active little boys without going

Oh my GAWD! You mean you have no meds??? At least my doc gave me a few refills to hopefully tide me over till a new doc can pick me up, and if that doesn't happen I can call the crisis line in Mental Health Unit. Hubby would be riding the same train with yours -- makes me feel even worse some days when I find some other creature's voice erupt from my voice :confused3 No kidding about being on meds when you go to the House of the Mouse. Even though we get all excited with the planning (enuff to cause a manic mood for me) Once we are there -- or anywhere there is too much stimutaltion I shut down .. go on overload. :crowded: I feel so bad for you & your entire family. Both of my kids knew early on that they couldn't make plans to bring a friend home cause they never knew "who" would greet them at the door.
Pass one onto your hubby too ok? He needs it big time I know that peeps who are cargivers to those of us who suffer with a mental illness are often more tired than they let on!

Yummy yummy yum eh? It is fun too :cool1: But I must say ... I tend to follow the majority up here in Canada for vanilla (apparently about 75% of us like that -- maybe cause it looks like snow :lmao: ) My all time favourite though is swirl soft serve! It is to die for as far as I am concerned and is so hard to come by. 3 weeks ago John and I chased down an "ICE CREAM MAN in his funky truck -- know what I mean? Now he comes every Friday and pulls right into our parking lot --- we live in a townhouse complex. He gets swarmed by tons of kids but John is ALWAYS 1st in line. One day he let our fish burn on the BBQ so he could get the Ice Cream Man :rotfl2:

I had a good cry today. My mom and I did. Today was not a good day because my dad was sick. So here's the whole story:

Point 1-In May 2005 my dad was diagnosed with a brain tumor.
Point 2-Doctors said that it's going to come back and it will eventually kill him.
Point 3-My dad means the world to me.
Point 4-Today, my dad got sick. He woke up with a HUGE headache and he actually threw up because of the headache. Which never ever happens.
Point 5-My dad never throws up
Point 6-It was probably a migrane
Point 7-Migranes can also lead to brain tumors
Point 8-My dad had a brain tumor before that will grow back.
Point 9-I'm scared because he goes for a MRI next week
Point 10-Lately my dad hasn't been feeling that great

I love my dad to death. I never want to lose him, I don't want to...I just don't.

Ahhh I'm so sorry to hear that! :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug: Just remember that know matter what happens he will always be your dad and no matter where you go he will be with you in your heart! I know its hard not to worry yourself, but just try to do special things with and for your dad and even the rest of the family maybe that will help bring you some peace. I'm glad you & your mom were able to have some quality time together today! :goodvibes Keep us posted. :grouphug:

It's never easy seeing a parent that sick. I guess we just figure they're supposed to take care of us right? Here's hoping for the best, and sending you and your family prayers. stinkerbelle's mom is right; no matter what happens there will always be a part of your dad with you.
