This morning Stinkerbelle asked me if I was staying home from work. I told her no I have to go to work. She looked at me & said "are you going to work to make money to take me to Mickey's house?"

I hope you told her yes! That's why I work... oh yeah and paying the bills, eating etc.

Ummm.. since she sent this to me to review... it wasn't quite like that! To correct here, and not ramble to much... I was putting away the inflatable slide and bump my head on the fan box underneath it. Most of the kiddes were gone. Nothing at first but then the blood did start to flow. I had gashed it. No ambulance, but I did drive myself, well followed the assistant director, to the ER cause nothing else was open. Also no xrays, why waste it on ineer space? I was going to leave it alone, but since she saw it she wanted to make sure it was ok. 4 staples later, so the frankenstien monster is correct, I went home and even went to work the next day. Try teaching swimming without getting your head wet!! I was really drained though, so took a nap before I went to the Christian concert/meeting that night that I should have gone to Friday night so I wouldn't have hurt my head!

It is better but itches. I want them out now!!! but have to wait until next Monday. My head is tender but ok. My hair covers it. And do you think the Powers that BE will remember that I returned hurt to work the next day? NO, sure not. They might remember that I cost them something!

I just got bad news from dh. Our drs office called him yesterday to have him come in today. They got the information about the accident from the hospital & wanted to do a follow-up. Well it appears things are worse than we thought. They said his back is really messed up & want him to take PT. Also now they don't want him to drive at all anymore until he's finished with PT or gets special permission. They want him off work atleast 2 more weeks.

There was an accident on our street last night . Dh & ds were up the street being nosey & dh met one of the guys that was in his accident. This was the driver of the 2nd car-- his car was smashed luckily he was alone because anyone in the back seat would've been killed. Turns out he has 2 broken ribs along with his back & neck trouble-- and a totalled car.

I thought about LizzY this morning. I heard a commedienne on the radio. She's talking to the crowd & she says I probably look familiar to you all, I'm in a band! The Marching Band. Then she said any Tuba players in da houuuuuuusseee?!?!?! Then she said " I like to play Tuba because if I can't be a cheerleader I want to carry something big enough to knock one out!"

They actually wanted me to switch to tuba. I said no, those things are huge and they get not fun parts.
