Thanks so much for the words of comfort. Neither of our families are overly concerned. Except for in-laws cause we owe them some money from when John was laid after a job he had held for 15 years. He was a manager of a help-desk and had 50 peeps under him. They were a multi-national company. After we had used up our ENTIRE life savings and his pension as well, we needed to practially beg for money to buy food for the kids and stave off the bank from taking house. NOW they bug John everytime he speaks on phone -- oh and did I mention that they are charging us 7% INTEREST? All they wanna mention is that since he only gets paid for days he actually teaches (on contract) why does he want to take time off for doc appointments?
You would think that they would be more sympathic.

It is nice to have a place to do some venting and not worry that I will be judged. Oh and be shouted at for saving $$ for a trip to WDW in 2009 for our 25th.

Some people just care more about money than they do anything or anyone else, even their own families. Those are the kind of people I feel sorry for the most because they are missing out on so much love. If I were you I would try not to let it get to you too much (I know it is hard to do). Just think about all the love you have from your Dh and kids.

We are driving too!! but we are stopping in Virginia to visit my family on the way home for 2 days... I just noticed (ya real quick of me huh?) that you are really just across the lake from us!! it will take you about the same amount of time to get there... about 24 hours.. what day are you leaving?? we are leaving on Thursday and going straight through and finding a motel on the beach for Friday, getting the drive lag off of us before we check into POR on Saturday...

Hey your egg hatched-- Congratulations!!!! Sorry about your son being sick, hope he gets better soon! Packing my mom & dd1 up. They leave for Savannah Thursday 4 am. They will be staying at the Inn at Ellis Square. Sunday they will be going to Tybee Island. Monday they will be coming home.

thanks for the for my DS6..he feels fine, a little tummy ache once in a while. Dr. gave us some medicine while waiting for the lab work..(yuck-that was fun to collect...) could be salmonella, could be something else..(possibly from kissing the toads he keeps catching??! -yes, we put a stop to that.. ) At least it's only coming out of one end...

Savannah awaits the visit of your mom and DD!! I know they will have a great time..Tybee Island has very nice beaches...one of them has a lighthouse and a fort in the back..Sandra Bullock has a house on the island, and John Cougar Mellencamp reportedly just bought one. Tell her to keep a look out for a bunch of dolphins that usually swims by...My DH got on his boogie board (w/lifejacket-there is a STRONG undercurrent and riptide can be bad-be careful) and paddled out to them once, they were brushing up against his legs, swimming very close. They were amused, but cautious. Is this the Girl Scout trip???

Shoot my ds never used to take his shirt off because dd1 "might see his stomache". The boy is so skinny we call him stickboy. Of course playing all the sports, now he's stickboy with muscles.

You should see my boy. 55 lbs and he is almost 10. Tall & skinny. I'm 5'3 and he is right below my shoulder. The finally figured out, after I have been fussing about it for 2 years that his height & weight have gone flatline. Well DUH! So a new med to make him eat. 3 weeks... yeah rite. he is in the 1 week off now then we start again. I personally think they need a higher dose. The ped said we see 5 lbs in 3 weeks. Nope~

OK - now ya'll are just "egging" (couldnt resist that pun today...) me on! I came up with no less than 3 GREAT responses to that line...BUT, I am trying, for atleast one whole day , to not say anything off-color. We do have young-uns present.... but I tell you I can BEARLY stand it!!!!
